'Pakistan tour of England', another series defeat coming for Pakistan. First New Zeland then Australia and South Africa and now England. Pakistan has made 340 runs today, I think England will comfortably get that and win series today.  With all these defeats, it is hard to believe Pakistan has any claim for winning World Cup.
But there is one good thing from this series for sure. With all match ending in runs around 350-400 for both side, we can expect that World Cup this year will be very high scoring. Can we see first 500? I think we can!

Excellent performance from England in the current series. They have shown that they can chase any total and defend any total. I think England are the real favorites in the coming world cup tournament. I didn't see such a composed England team for quite a long time.

Pakistan used to rank among the top 3 teams, until 10-15 years back. But ever since they stopped playing their home matches in Pakistan, their standards have gone down. Another factor to remember is the IPL. Almost all the big players in the world derive majority of their revenue from the IPL, and this option is not available for the Pakistani players. And the refusal by India to take part in the bilateral series against Pakistan means that the PCB is also running out of funds. This may be the reason why promising players such as Fawad Ahmed and Imran Tahir decided to cancel their Pakistani passports.

If you followed Pakistan cricket you would have known that Pakistan has PSL tournament every year which is equivalent to the IPL. Every team has up and down phases. Even though Pakistan is not in good form but they still have the ability to beat any team any day. You can not predict he performance of the Paki team.

So in the final match of series England  batted first and again made a massive 351. At one point England were 310 for 8 wickets and Pakistan should have restricted them to under 325.    There bowling performance is still under a lot of questions.
I smell a series defeat for Pakistan unless they do some miracle in batting.

England have won the series 4 - 0 and proved why they’re dangerous when they’re playing at home. In today’s match England bowler Woakes took 5 wickets, and condemned Pakistan to it’s fourth straight defeat against England. Pakistan will have to introspect what went wrong for them in this series, and quickly work on solving it if they wish to survive in the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup.

As expected, Pakistan is clean sweep by England in the series.  5 wickets for  Woakes sealed the final game for England.

Tough Series for Pakistan and a Well deserve win for the host nation, England.
