Hi all.

I am fairly new to BitcoinTalk.org

I am, however, a genuine person that is honest and trustworthy.

To build my reputation on these forums, for a very short time, I am prepared to offer small loans at 0% interest, you simply pay back what you borrowed.

Here's the rules I am setting out.

1. You must be a reputable member and have at least 3+ feedback, if your feedback is negative or red I reserve to right to note deal with you.
2. You must have a good post count and history on the forums, your profile will be fully inspected, if you're account is recently made or you've come back from a long break you're not likely to be accepted. Again, I reserve to right to refuse anyone without giving a reason.
3. Your loan request must be under $30 the lower it is the more likely you are to be accepted.
4. The repayment date must be within 28 days, under 14 days you are more likely to be accepted.
5. No collateral is needed
6. You must provide me with a reason you want the loan and the day you intend to pay it back

This is being done to help establish myself on these forums, as such I will be very picky on who I choose to deal with.

I reserve to right to decline people as I see fit, even trusted or good standing members will be turned down, please don't be offended it's just because I'm going to be very selective on who this is offered to.

This would be best for reputable members who are short on cash and need a couple of $$ but know that they can pay it back rather quickly, if you tick all of those boxes you will likely be accepted.

AGAIN: I can't go over this enough, please don't be offended if I turn you down. Even if you're reputable and a member in good standing, if I decline you it doesn't mean I think you're a bad member or too risky, I have my own criteria for dealing with people and I'm not taking on everyone who meets all the terms set out in this post, I'm going to be selective about who I choose.

It's purely to build myself up on these forums while also offering a small lifeline to needy members who may need just a couple of $ or so at short notice.

It will be wise to sign a message from a bitcoin wallet cointaining enough BTC to start a lending business here.
This way you are going to gain some traction and legitimacy here in the forum.

If you don't know how to do this, see this guide: https://coinguides.org/sign-verify-bitcoin-address/

Good luck to you!

To build my reputation on these forums...

Why do you think you need to give free bitcoin loans to earn a reputation?  Why are you so concerned about "building" a reputation?  Your reputation will be assessed base on your character, not your ability to fund loans.  Browse the forum, engage in the discussions, be patient.  You're reputation will follow, it's up to you.

Furthermore; expect a shitload of newbies to apply for $25 loans they'll never pay back.

1) I didn't say I'll approve everyone, it's totally at my own discretion and every deal I choose to make will be what I can afford to lose and will factor into my own algorithm. I've done one successful deal so far, turned down two and plan to do another today.

2) Why am I so bothered about building my reputation? Are you joking, why would someone be bothered about having a reputation on eBay or on Amazon or on Google Reviews or on FaceBook Reviews, you get my point it matters.

Obviously it goes without saying that you should just participate, be a good member, provide value and these things do tend to come naturally but you can do things that give them a boost just like this.

Read through my comment history and post history, I'm not about providing the bare minimum to the community, I do contribute and add value, I do participate, I'm not asking anything from anyone, I'm providing a service and if it goes smoothly, in return, I'd appreciate the feedback which (goes without saying) helps you secure future deals and business on these forums.

Don't hijack my thread to call me out when I haven't done anything wrong. Thanks for your input anyway...

Choose who you lend to very carefully. Even legendary members with good trusted feedback and a reputation around the forum have unpaid loans. Like don't fall for trust or ranks, your 'little help' will be taken advantage of. Always secure a loan with collateral even if the interest rate is 0%.

This is not the way to build trust here on the forum. For now, I have left a neutral tag on your account, as reputation should be earned rather than bought.

What an total immature child. I am not buying anything, I was offering a service you complete and utter idiot, if I was buying it I'd be accepting and taking every person on. Clearly have an ego problem.

Thanks to this guy alone, I will not be dealing with anyone on the forums on these terms, and for future record I am more than capable of making my own decisions. If someone wants to 'give' away money they can, if I wasn't paid back I wouldn't be crying, I'd leave the negative feedback and deal with it. As I said, I wasn't accepting EVERYONE as clearly stated in my post.

Grow up, I don't want to expect that comment to be removed from my trust scan as mine wont be removed from yours EVER it's that simple.

Everyone is so harsh to you because they've seen new members all the time, come to the forum just to long con a member that sends them more than 0.1 BTC as collateral.

To be honest, I don't see how this is "buying" trust though, you are just lending to users and if a member didn't really want to get scammed, then they will use a reliable escrow.
People on any other forums or any selling website has to build their reputation, otherwise who would trade with you or take you seriously if no one ever traded with you before? Everyone has to start somewhere.

Anyways some tips are look at people's trade history, if they barely have any trading history, then don't give them a loan.

Also watch out for fake tokens, these can look the same as the regular tokens and you can get scammed like that too.

edit: Don't worry about the neutral tag either, at least you didn't get smited with the negative tag from Vod

For lending escrows are not needed,OP can choose right person to lend amount without getting anything as collateral as a beginner he don't have to complicate it too much.

This can be used as building reputation too because OP is not going to lose any amount by lending to the reputed members but when everything goes fine OP will get feedback which is trust.

The thing is, people get reputation for lending out or doing deals on the forum all the time. How is this buying trust?
Is all lending businesses in this section buying trust then, just to build up their reputation? Is people trading goods buying trust because they are using money to buy goods and in exchange getting feedback and trust?

See this doesn't make any sense, imo. We shouldn't be tagging new people on the forums like this. It will just discourage others from being here.

This person clearly says he is giving out 0% fee loans to reputed members in order to build his reputation here.

This is equivalent to saying OP is risking money, with the only hope that he will earn trust in return, essentially fast-tracking his way to positive ratings which could then put him in a position to recoup any losses with an exit scam. I am not saying this is necessarily the case here, but this type of behavior is certainly suspicious and people should be aware how trust was earned when dealing with people here on the forum.

I believe a negative tag was justified, but I have given OP the chance to show me I am wrong. If he does so, the neutral rating will be removed.

Grow up, I don't want to expect that comment to be removed from my trust scan as mine wont be removed from yours EVER it's that simple.

I'm sorry for complaining so much but lenders risk no money at all, if collateral is on the table. On top of getting trade and trust feedback.
I pointed out that:
Everyone is so harsh to you because they've seen new members all the time, come to the forum just to long con a member that sends them more than 0.1 BTC as collateral.
I know what you are saying, so hopefully OP can make a new thread because this thread is already littered with discussion, and maybe do a lending business more competitive instead of doing these free loans.
