I think we need more firepower if we want to go back to all time high prices. This is a good increase and we are moving further and further away from the bottom price which is amazing news, we have been so close to bottom for so long that we got scared of what it could become however the only way to go back to all time high is to have a very further away bottom as well.

If we do not really focus on getting sellers remove their orders and increase the prices we are going to just stay here and that doesn't help anyone, bulls do not have the high prices they want and bears do not have the low prices they want, so basically this price right here doesn't help anyone out.

Bitcoin and altcoin prices needs to go up much more than this, I suggest if they all go 2x from here than we gonna have a big party once again.

If there is no large amount of money that enters the market very quickly the rise will not last very long. Even if we had a 30% increase during the last days. We could even face a new crash, at least I won't be surprised to be honest.
5000 dollars is now the psychological barrier not to fall below in order to continue to create positive sentiment in the market.

I do not see a global uptrend , I would call an uptrend when bitcoin will still be able to fix above 6000 , then I think there will be a bullish trend , and now I think there is still a chance that we can fall below 3000 !

Some positive dynamics is better than nine, but I agree with others that it's too early to say that Bitcoin is truly moving towards the run for ATH yet. It might be a temporary thing followed by new period of bleeding. When the price started growing, we could see a spike in trading volume. It's been gradually going down now. It's good if the price at least stabilises around $5k for now.

I am not pessimistic about Bitcoin, and for me it has long been clear that the bearish period is over. I realized this at the end of November last year, and of course, now that the price of Bitcoin exceeded 5,000, there were few doubts that the trend had finally changed. Yeah if you compare to the past some months, then you can surely see some upward growth of many altcoins.
Often people make mistakes in choosing the right time to invest in a particular coin for which they make huge losses also.
But thank to the ones for whom the prices have gone up now and now is in  a reputable conditions.
Specially the investors are needed to be think as they made the demand higher of the altcoins and Bitcoins for which the price went up high.

Indeed, today many coins have increased and this crypto's view seems to be fresher and the crypto lover is optimistic. This market movement makes many analysts move to give their opinions and certainly great expectations are always there.

I know altcoins are moving in price too alongside Bitcoin but these price movement is nothing compared to what we should be expecting when the main bull comes in, I don’t know if altcoins price movement will follow the last trend because during the last trend, my portfolio grew when bitcoin was going sideways and not bull run.

But I am surprised that I have still not seen much growth now except the ones that are top 30 which is normal, I think some altcoins depends on the bullish mode of BTC while some does not depends on it, some gets their own bull even when BTC is down. So, I cannot say all altcoins will be affected by bitcoin's bull rally.

In the past also, for example, etheretum hit its ATH of till time after ~2 months of bitcoin's ATH occurrence time. It means altcoins are having their own trend cycle and does not need to be based on bitcoin and its market conditions.

being sincere, these altcoins are very dangerous investments, see the high increases they had and see the current prices:

Ethereum: came to be worth $1300 and today is worth less than $ 200 and I doubt it will revert back $ 1300

Bitcoin Cash: I feel very sorry for the people who buy this altcoin, it came to be worth  $ 4000 and today it is worth less than  $300, and I doubt very much that it will ever reach the  $4000 again. People who bought at the $ 2500 level have reason to be very disappointed with this altcoin

NEO: without doubt that this is another altcoin that was a great disappointment, came to be worth  $160 and today is worth  $11.

Does anyone really think about investing in these altcoins? in my opinion bitcoin is a more secure investment in relation to altcoins

Those who accumulated during its bottom are the one will gain a profit by this time since Bitcoin price growth unexpectedly and so does altcoins too. If this barrier won't break we might even see another price growth so it is better to accumulate already by this time. I have never doubted bitcoin but I always have been in doubt with other crypto currencies.

They can always be sold in an instant in exchange for bitcoin. Yeah, any crypto currencies for bitcoin just so they could get out and make it into cash.
At most countries it is permitted but other coins are not yet on their list for cash out. So they will still take the path of exchanging it for bitcoin.
It might be a slow run but it is better for all of us rather than its price jumping into another which makes us WOW or mostly depressed.

We are the same here dude, I also never doubted bitcoin. Altcoins will remain altcoins and bitcoin is different from altcoins, I usually pick good altcoins in the top 100 altcoins in CoinmarketCap so that I know when bitcoin swinging the price and altcoins do something also like what bitcoin did. I believed that this happening now is just a piece of news that full of fud and fomo.

I can see that, it gives relief to me, I was afraid that it will fall lower but it has been stable at $5,000 and now it's trading at $5100.
Small price increase but it's considered as big improvement, we haven't seen this kind of strong bullish movement in the past, we just want to see it fully bullish so we can bring this price to a higher level. There was new big news to cause a big pump to where we are now, I'm expecting one soon.

It was a really big relief, I had thought all our enemies that wishes to see the price fall below the $5000 will succeed, but I am glad the bulls  didn’t give them the chance to do so, I wish I have more money more than what  I can afford to invest, I would have also contributed to keeping the gap high.

But, I guess it’s only big investor that can keep the value back to the $5400 it dropped from, but I know that gradually, even without the input of the whales, we will slowly get back far above the price, time and patience is necessary for us to put into practice, our time will come when we will reach the ATH for this market.
