Not January 2019 but January 2018 because the last time bitcoin witness the highest bull run was in 2017 when bitcoin reached it highest price of $20000. The return of the green chart movement is an indication that the bear market is over and cryptocurrencies are now in it green days again.

basically it is the USD market alongside BTC market for altcoins that have both which is causing this mistake among people thinking the altcoins have also gone up but in fact they have been dumped. you can see it in this chart how they lost value:

This is positive news, but it remains to be seen whether Bitcoin can sit comfortably within the $5k to $6k range or will it go back down which it has been doing a lot in recent times. It could break into the $6k range too. Lets see what happens.

As I look into some charts altcoin are being dumped now and bitcoin is the only coin that is being pumped right now. Altcoin is being sold because traders are buying bitcoins. Altcoin to fiat then fiat to bitcoin.

I'm not surprised by this move. Smart investors knows how to really play in this market. They will just shift their funds around and go where the money is, that is Bitcoin. So slowly they are dumping their altcoins and aggressively change their positions quickly.

that is only one of the possible things to happen otherwise we can see a lot of different scenarios. for the time being every hour that passes with price at this level, it is making it into a stronger bottom buy support which can not be broken anymore. and with all the new positivity that has come back to the market people are buying more bitcoin which is pushing the price even higher so the chances of dropping is decreasing fast.

Few investors are still not on the same page with us that it is a BULL RUN, mostly people that were affected during the ATH of ~$20,000 in December 17, 2017 and point of correction sir, it’s not 2019.

Majority are still locked in that investment and will see nothing green about the market until it breaks $10,000, but realistically, like you said, the market is already green and will continue till it reached its full capacity which for now, we cannot really determine the next ATH it will pick before falling back to the Bear market. So, for the rest of this year, the market will surely be a favorable one.

I'm always pessimistic with what is going to happen and  that anytime soon there will be a break to $6k and will soon go for $7K I guess its just taking time to allow new comers to decide whether they are going to enter into this market.  It about time to make people learn  about what is  coming, when they know opportunity  is there they  will  buy  BTC and even altcoins are also going to rise along with BTC.

Still this is the right time to take bitcoin as many you can and while you can before it skyrockets, there's a FOMO but as long as you know your position and bet with long term, you don't have to be emotional.

There is enough time for long term minded people to buy in. We still don't have a clear confirmation of a trend reversal, and as long as that isn't the case, it's not that bad of a decision to wait a little longer. In my book a confirmed trend reversal is when we firmly hover above the $6000 level. Serious people rather buy into something that has been going up steadily than something that technically is still quite bearish.

These very short term increases make get rich quick people so bullish, that a major red candle will shake them off their moon rocket. After that they will turn even more bearish than before the pump and potentially trigger them to unload their bags out of fear. A sub $4000 dump right now will be a brutal counter move.

Not all alts are on an upward trend. It's mainly bitcoin and ethereum. I'm still seeing s lot of red in the market though of course that's normal when people are converting their alts to btc. Litecoin, ripple, cardano, these coins i hold are currently on a downward trend along eith many other alts.

At the start of the bull market for bitcoin, we cannot expect that most altcoins will follow it's path.
I can noticed that only BCH did jumped hard of the high volume altcoins and it's not a bull market yet for alts as it should be more.

We can confirm that the cryptocurrency market is having a bullish run but we cannot yet confirm if BTC is on an upward reversal. Yes Bitcoin's influence on the market is still there but you can see some coins being left out when other cryptocurrencies are going up because they know that only selling this worthless slow moving coins is their only way to take advantage of the bull run right now, that has been always the case in the market when they see fast movers they will immediately replace their coins for it.
