ALL crypto coins are "worthless" right now. Here is why.

Quite simply put, all coins are worthless right now if crypto is the future of money.  I was looking at the charts and if bitcoin were to rise to $100,000,000 (1 penny per satoshi) at ANY point, that is 20,000x the current price.  

In other words, every penny you invest now turns into at least $200 at that point (even if your altcoin is only worth 1 satoshi/coin).  Seems like they are worthless right now compared to what they could be.

The idea is that if you believe altcoins will be world money, why wouldn't you save up as much as you can?

If it is now worthless it can someday become a valuable coin. I remember that in 2017 when the price of Bitcoin soared, all Altcoin had very good selling prices. I compare with 2017 that I'm sure if the market price can return to pumping, I think all coins can be valuable.

Future doesn't mean a high price. It's true that cryptocurrency are the future. But they would be for new ones. There is no sense of bitcoin rising to one cent for satoshi. Even if it did, than no one would be using it and it would be nearly impossible to mine which on the other hand would restrict the use. The future would be of large highly scalable zero or low fees coins.

Well established altcoin aren't worthless, you can call most newly created tokens worthless as they haven't established themselves but Altcoin like Litecoin, Ethereum, dash, grin etc just to mention a few aren't worthless as bitcoin needs them to survive. The cryptocurrency market needs but Altcoin and bitcoin to achieve global adoption and hopefully achieve the price you suggested in OP. Altcoin aren't worthless instead they're cheap.

So obviously, they are all worthless. But I disagree that ALL coins have nothing to offer. Bitcoin for one is being used as investment, or even mode of payment. As for altcoins, some of them are being used by banks like XRP others as privacy coin like Monero and then there is ETH.

It will be too soon to see all altcoins dead in the years to come and more over what makes you think that bitcoin is better? After using few altcoins for transactions speed they are way better and faster than Btc

By the time bitcoin reached 100K price, those worthless altcoins will be long gone. That is why you don't invest in them.

And in your analogy, you have to wait for bitcoin to get x20,000 before those worthless coin gain value. Since you have the money, why not just pour it on bitcoin?

you are confusing Ripple with XRP.
the former is the technology that banks are looking into because they are interested in their own centralized and closed source version of the blockchain technology the easy way where they can fully control it.
the later is a centralized token that is using the Ripple technology that nobody uses apart from pump and dumpers.

I do agree, it should be cheap or extremely cheap price now as compare to where we are going. The reason why people are not saving up and stockpiling these coins is because the fundamentals of some of these coins are changing and not all of them are going to make it, so you need to keep updating your portfolio to the current reality, imagine holding on to Primecoin since and what the price worth now

first of all not all crypto are worthless . most of them maybe .  secondly  , its not true when someone say crypto is the future of money . its only a popular phrase made by crypto fan boys because they think that crypto is too good  .

your prediction are impossible  . crypto can rise high but dont be exagerated too much   . and as i said earlier not all cryptos are worthless .  the drop of the price is only normal but the price can also recover  .

lets say they are . i still dont like buying too early and saving up . there is no point of rushing because i can always buy them if i want to in the future  .

it is hard to understand what you really mean by your topic. you seem to be saying something but really mean something else. you call "crypto coins" worthless but then you say why wouldn't you buy them and hold them!!! that doesn't make any sense. and what does bitcoin have to do with anything here!

bitcoin is the most valuable cryptocurrency and it has no competitor. it obviously is a good choice to buy and hold but at the same time a lot of the altcoins aren't even worth buying for a short time let alone for holding as long term investments.
you can look at the altcoin graveyard to see how many coins are already dead and if you look at the history of some of them you can clearly see that all of them at some point were advertised as good coins with a bright future!!!

You are right but for btc to reach such a high value and sustain it no one knows how much more time it will take and will it ever reach that price is another question. 10 million is a real huge and fascinating number but i do not see it getting there anytime soon.

It depends on how you view crypto coin because I don't believe any coin is worthless because their the ability to rise above they current price in the future, and on bitcoin analogy I believe it bit that price will take a very long time to achieve cause of the volatility of the market and it unpredictable future.

I agree that 95% of altcoins will and must die. We do not need, at least now, over 2,000 cryptocurrencies. We need cryptocurrencies with actual use cases, of which there are a few.

Exactly, I was bewildered when I read the word worthless. From all indicators, bitcoin and top altcoin prices are very cheap at the moment because its still at a very tender stage. We should look forward to its price at full adoption

Yes we believe in it but the problem here arises are to far from the improvement that it could actually happened. Imagine for example, right now the value of btc is 5k$ then you hold 1 at least for 20years. Chances it will go back or surpass the last ATH is high. Why? Population increases, mass adoption, who knows what will be the future. Have you heard of any bluechips stock with a record of 10 years fall down? NONE! So the only way is up. But we dont know when!

In my opinion not all crypto coins are worthless. there is still a valuable crypto coin. The underlying causes of the crypto coins are actually that they play the price so they hold all the coins and then they release it at a very high price.

Cryptocurrency really starts to go down because there are a lot of ICO projects that are scam and fraud. Bounty hunters have also been disappointed because they waste a lot of energy and time just to advertised their projects. Yes you are right that a lot of bounty hunters have waste a lot of time from advertising their project and ended up a scam that they don't receive any rewards. Crypto coins have been decrease because of this kind of tragedy.

Also, a lot of bounty hunters and investors have stop participating in ICO projects because of a lot of scams.
