Hello, I am using 3.3.4 for Windows.

My electrum wallet has been stuck on synchronizing for about 24 hours now. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. I have tried changing servers manually but none seem to connect. I know there is a DDoS attack going on, however other people seem to have found a work around and some people are expressing they are having no problems at all. I saw someone suggest setting up my own server but I have no idea how to do that.  Are there any known good servers that are working for you? Any help would be appreciated. I have a reasonable size incoming deposit I haven't even been able to see yet.

Thanks in advance.
Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Hello.

Same problem here. I have rebooted the computer and the electrum 100 times, hand-picked servers, run the wallet on another computer. Re-installed the wallet. Interestingly, I have other wallets on electrum, but only one of them does not work. All others are synchronized without problems. My friends don't have a problem with wallets either, just me.

Do you have the standard number of Electrum addresses on a standard wallet?
Is your wallet 2FA or did you increase the gap?
Are you using the LATEST version of Electrum (3.3.4) and download it from the official Electrum page? (https://electrum.org/#download)

>Do you have the standard number of Electrum addresses on a standard wallet?

If i understand your question correct, i got standard legacy wallet & i got standard number of input addresses.

>Is your wallet 2FA or did you increase the gap?

I do not have 2FA on my wallet. I don't know what "increase the gap" means.

I am using the latest version 3.3.4 & download it from official website https://electrum.org/#download / Me op is Win 7.

Can you try to create a new wallet with the same seed and see if this does sync like your other wallets?

Don't worry. It's just a false positive.

Yes. They are false positives. The only "good" anti virus in that list is Kaspersky and they are tagging the file with the virus "not-a-virus:NetTool.Win32.TorJok.afe".

If you really want to be safe, verify the integrity of the files by following this guide: https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@jklepatch/how-to-verify-the-integrity-of-electrum-wallet-executable-on-windows

This always happens with Electrum files because they use PyInstaller to package their python apps, and some virus do that as well.

Shit antivirus says: if a virus does that, and this app also does that, then this must be a virus!

This did NOT work for me. I tried making a new wallet with my seed several times. Still stuck on syncing. I am using the correct version of electrum downloaded from the correct place. No 2FA on my wallet.

Learn to switch servers.  Keep doing this until it syncs.
