Probability of winning is based on how many Satoshi are bet by each Player.

How can it be random when when it's based on how much a player bet? Contradictory. Can you explain further?

For example, if you bet 10,000 Satoshi and another player bets 1,000 Satoshi, you have 10 times the chance to win than the other player.  The winning tickets are still picked at random so even though the other player has a much smaller chance of winning, they could still win while you might not.

I entered your page and I've seen that the player that has paid 10000 satoshi has 100% chance to win while the one with 10 satoshi has 0%.
I suggest you start learning about floating point operations and provably fair drawing. What I see there is, sorry, a (bad) joke.

Hi - thanks for your reply.  The site is simply a proof of concept (for now) to learn if people would actually be interested in what is intended to be the simplest of lottery games.  I do not have a gaming license, so this is not a functioning lottery.  If enough interest is gained, I would apply for a gaming license and make the lottery functional.

The site is not a faucet.  My intention is to make it very clear all over the site that this is only a concept for a lottery.

I think his question is "How your random algorithm works"? Such as predefined entropy/random value and hash of all current game information (address, amount, tx hash, etc.)

Hi - thank you for your feedback.  I will have to try the site with Tor Browser.

Since at the moment the site is only a proof of concept, I used a .net random number generator, that's it.  There is no house, the players play with each other and not the house, but I would still need to make the randomness verifiable.  I would generate a hash before the player submits the transaction, then verify the match after the transaction.  I assume that would be a sufficient mechanism to satisfy the bitcoin lottery community?

Just tried to put some random inputs and it directed me to a lot of codes that are not clear to me. Probably, that's one of the things you need to fix. Try to add at least just a pop up message for that like, "invalid bitcoin address."

Secondly, if you ask about how much the interest of such lottery game then I can say that the interest is not that much here. There are many other similar lotteries since few years ago but no one can survive due to lack of interest.
Third, your site is so simple which is good but also a bit not attractive to catch gambler's eyes.
Last but not least, Regarding the prize distribution of your lottery based on the Finished games. The total prize for 3 winners is exactly the same as the total prizepool. Does it mean that you do not take any fees when it will be live?

I am afraid your suggestions won't be enough to help op out since the competition is intense and this website is basically a bad experiment at present.

I highly doubt that this website can become successful when there are way better legitimate alternatives out there in the crypto space.

Its okay if he's going to find it hard to make his lottery into fame. As he said, this is just a test and likely a survey on how gamblers are going to be interested with the lottery that he has created. OP is playing safe before running his own lottery business, he needs verification from the community and will base the result of it from the feedbacks that he will receive from the people who will try it out. I'll try it out OP and would probably give my opinion about your site.

It's safe to say that this lottery is a beta so it will be a hard time for him finding gamblers. And that thing is pretty much a common thing to a starting business.

Yeah, a simple lottery with a very simple website design too. I've seen this before but this thing would eventually fail for sure. Not to be soo negative but this would always be the destiny of these lottery kind of games.

It is a lottery with no fixed amount of entry but limited to 3 entries/players per round, so there is no fixed amount that you can win but it is clear that the prize distribution is 80%-15%-5%

Why it should not be divided into 3 winners? It is usual in any lottery sites to have more than 1 winner. More winners = more chance to win something back, that's the logic.

All lotteries works like this, the higher you bet or the more tickets you have = higher chance for you to win the lottery. Probability of winning has nothing to do with provably fair IMO, the main problem is about how they will do the draw? Random provably fair system should be implemented to make it fair for all users.

Welcome to Bitcoin and welcome to gambling. You can see you found the right place for feedback but let me say something else here,,, lotteries will not work on this particular type of gamblers (crypto gamblers).

You can make lottery a section of a casino, or a part of the offering. This works very well in some sites like Freebitcoin, it adds an aspect of gambling. But standalone crypto lotteries have all been tried many times with no good success,,, mainly because people do not like waiting,,, and people do not believe in the provably fair,,, and people do not like high fees when the standard of crypto is 1% or below.

Funny but rightly asked question. I think with my common knowledge that the reason that big play gets 100% while small bet gets zero % is to prompt people to play bigger with the hope of getting better chance for good % when they win but, you don't get deceived to bet what amount you want to bet because, betting is always lucky game.

Lately someone here had an idea of 0% house edge dice and was asking for donation, now this one is asking for donation. OP better to set house edge over 0% to get some profit, no one will donate to casino/lottery and to my mind it's even unethical when casino/lottery asks for it.
Now what can we say about demand: I think it's very, very low because there were similar ideas with enough funds but non of them succeed, well, overally demand is very low and can say the same about trust.
