This is a sign that the trend is ending and we should consider when investing in the IEO.

Looking at the advantages for the token issuers we can safely put the fact that "being listed at day one" is a big big plus, I mean sometimes they try to get listed for months without any success but if you do an IEO you know you are going to get listed and that lifts a huge pressure off peoples minds, that way you can get even faster funding because investors knows you will be listed so basically that guarantee of being listed helps you get the funds you need.

On most exchanges this is no longer there , one person can not buy all the tokens for example on the exchange binance you can buy up to $ 1500 , and plus to all this lotteries work , I think you need to participate in the ieo , and if you're lucky you will earn well in this market!

The exchange can say tokens are sold out even when its not. Transparency can be an issue with this IEO since they are not letting us know where the funds are going. Its probably effective if its really in a big exchange but on the DEX, this IEO might not work otherwise it has to have a really good concept.

I think this is one advantage we can talk about because the major problem with ICO is to be listed and in any case, the icos took the advantage to be fraudulent.

But my worry too about IEO is that they might be secretive in numbers of tokens available.

The source of earnings is exchange, not IEO. IEO was not trend, after binance's several successful IEOs, others also joined, but they failed. I guess, binance also will not be able to continue until end.

Most people think ICO is dead that is why IOE popped-out. I can see an advantage for investors that they will not need to worry whether the token/coin will be listed or not since the sale will happen on the exchange it self.

Agreed, also the vetting process a company has to go through in order to be listed creates confidence as well.

I found a thread that stated IEO just give short term positive impact to the project. As we know for most people who buy the token thru IEO are trader they just need short term profit if the project has been rising and they will sell it after that they will leave and look to another projects. Whilst, the token price in the cryptocurrency just depend on the user itself if there is no one who hold the token then the price will goes to zero.

ETH holders don't like IEO's but if you think a bit harder, IEO's are actually making a favor to ETH by reducing its load.

If all the ICO projects leave ETH and go to Binance for IEO's not only it'll reduce the amount of possibly scam projects, it will also force Eth to work more on the real world usage of decentralized apps.

I personally haven't seen a decent dapp working on ETH yet. Maybe that's why they are crying out loud and hating IEO's

yes you are right, and that's the biggest disadvantages of the IEO most expecially on bigger exchanges like bittrex and binance where IEO sales finishes in matter of seconds leaving the smaller investors astray only for the whales to manipulate the prices later on

IEO to me is more dangerous than ICO,token been sold out in seconds,the question is,who are those that were able to buy into it,then when hit exchange,they want to sell it at a ridiculous price, beware.

Find solution to a problem they caused themselves? Some of these exchanges are the problem themselves and it is very annoying the way they are using the IEO platform for their own personal interest alone and not of those investors out there.

First, they introduced a minimum amount you can purchase which is quite high in dollar value, secondly, you still have to make use of their own coin to get access and finally, they are the one internal purchasing larger parts of these coins and then dumping it too on other investors. I learnt that some of their projects are being dump hard now after hitting exchange, which has never still solved the problem we were facing in ICO.
