There are many people searching for scammers in this forum and some scammers are just avoiding posting team lately since they are getting caught almost every time with their fake team.
While other scammers probably learned how to avoid such mistakes by using a guide posted in this forum - a guide in which is benefiting scam hunters and scam makers.

Also, dont forget it was "crypto winter", scammers are now coming back slowly, and by the time summer is here, this forum will be flooded again with scammers.

That's one thing that will challenge you and make you start a new way to find scammers and connections. It is same in connecting alts as well.

Anyways mind PM'ing me the guide. I am interested in giving it a look to see if there is a way still.

Probably he is talking about existing guidelines posted on forum (IMO). I am agree with him, many peoples wrote guidelines including me how to spot a scammers or scam ICO's. Its helping forum members to expose scammer on the other hand its helping scammers to avoid their mistakes. However its become very difficult to identify fake photo since there is few unique image generators.

However its become very difficult to identify fake photo since there is few unique image generators.
There are helpful articles on the Internet on how to recognize generated photos. For example https://medium.com/@kcimc/how-to-recognize-fake-ai-generated-images-4d1f6f9a2842

This topic is quite interesting, but I agree that discussing photo recognition issues will help scammers improve their skills. The situation is twofold.

Do you think it is necessary to share this information on this forum?
Let the scammers find by themselves, it is like serving the information for the scammers in a gold plate. " Here avoid this " ... .Very sad!!!

Of course not, I have no desire to help these scammers. I just wanted to say that there are many ways to recognize the bad guys, but discussing it here will not work. Information above appeared on the first link in Google and I gave it only as an example.

There's a lot of truth to that but regardless of tools and guides being posted here, scammers will always find new ways to go undetected, they evolve and get better at what they're doing.

I was going to add a few things I noticed scammers do differently now, but in the light of your reply, I will pass and not share this information. We don't want to give scammers any tips, right? Grin

Sorry, I was not pointing the finger directly at you, my point was to show that posting such information in this forum will help both sides. It will make easier for them (scammers) and harder for us (scam hunters).
As we mentioned the other day - the scam section of this forum is a teaching book for scammers.

~
I was going to add a few things I noticed scammers do differently now, but in the light of your reply, I will pass and not share this information. We don't want to give scammers any tips, right? Grin

Someone posted information about the new software that generates people - I sent a pm for the person asking if was possible to remove the post. The person removed the post, and soon after this appeared. This is one example that scammers are reading this section of the forum and learning how to do better next time /evolving.

We can share information between us, if anyone (scam hunters) have a question or would like to share information, such as how to find something, etc, we will share in private, but not publicly.

*** I am sorry lovesmayfamilis, we went way off topic here. ***

Good idea, we could even create a private telegram group of trusted scamhunters to discuss new ways of dealing with scammers.

You should post pictures in which an image is stolen, an image is the original file.
Like this topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5126520.msg50394075#msg50394075
And I think only 3 - 4 pictures are enough to denounce them.

Well, in fact, this article is nothing special, what could we not know. And so do not be afraid that someone reading this guide will use it in action. If the photo was changed using Photoshop, then it can be seen.
The only question is, what was Photoshop used for? And this is a red flag.

The most amazing thing is that scammers steal content from scammers

Moneytoken claims to be a crypto-backed loan platfrom: However they do not have an escrow service, they are opening a margin position when users get "loan" and if value of collateral goes down 30% your margin position gets closed. Plus users either pays daily interest or pays membership fee to get "loan"

- During ICO, Roger Ver was a great asset for them to collect funds. Roger Ver didn't make any comment after ICO. When Roger was asked about Moneytoken on live chat investors' comment got deleted and they were kicked from the live video room

- During ICO, Jerome (CEO) with his British accent was having videos in professional London style office and Moneytoken team was telling people that they have office in London. However, it was never clear where their office was. After the ICO, team showed their office, which was in Ukraine!

- They did not register with SEC and they have accepted investors from US.

- They have collected $38,000,000 from investors. Their website and margin trading system could be designed and coded for max $10,000. They have spent very little, nearly none in Marketing.

- Jerome opened a new business in Ukraine right after ICO. At that time investors' token were locked with the reason that Moneytoken team was "waiting" for a "top" exchange to list IMT.

- 2 months after ICO IMT (Moneytoken) was listed in LAToken, Bitforex, Coinsuper and IDEX

- They banned hundreds of investors from their Telegram channel. There is no conversation on their channel except Moneytoken paid admins and some fake accounts.

- Those fake accounts also trolled investors in non-admin Moneytoken channel that we scam victims talk. At the moment that channel is under attack with horrible images you wouldn't want to see (however, all the history of investors conversations are there)

- There is no need for IMT as its only use case of IMT is to pay membership fee to get a "loan" (which is a margin position you can do for free)

- There are many more I can add. Lastly, they claim to create a financial ecosystem in Ukraine without complying with SEC and countless red-flags'
