Why we have to be afraid of whales, in fact, they are helping the market to move and get benefiting by then also. We know whales is having a big role in crypto space and because of them, blockchain technology become popular cause of their hypes. We can't blame them either if they have to used that strategy( hypes) cause that's the way they'll become profitable and have that too. This means that everyone will have such benefits when hypes came out.

We as traders maybe and investor even with smaller amount of money if compared to whales, must take any advantage from whales action. I think it is just not follow our emotion and FOMO wouldn't come to us.

Another statement that I don't like, some people comes and they intend to investing but he doesn't know what whales mean and what is the character a market if whales come into? The view point for newcomers are like that, they just believe to the whales and ignore everything such as the development of cryptocurrency comes now. Never seen that kind of big huge order for almost a year, seems like it's a complete change of the market.

The truth is that the whales never left the market, they were simply taking advantage of the bear market across the vertical. We should understand that the Bitcoin market is the fastest evolving entity in the money markets, and by this reason has proven some of the integrity benchmark tests put forward by various observers.

I don't think whales did the recent pump. Also did whale get off the market? I guess not. The upward trend we are experiencing, even if it was made by whales or not still you should be careful because price might crash anytime unexpectedly. As of now, I'm just enjoying the run and I guess this will continue not unless we've reach traders selling point.

Bitcoin being unpredictable isn't anything new. It has been since it became a tradable asset. The thing that people should be looking for when buying are the massive corrections after a bull run, and last year is a perfect example. Bitcoin tends to correct with 80% on average after a fierce bull run, and the closer you buy to that 80% mark, the more likely it is that you buy near the bottom.

Whales don't have anyone to grab if people keep holding their coins instead of dumping so far down. In the end, there technically is no difference between a whale and a smart Bitcoiner with just a few coins who is utilizing the bear market to stack up on cheap coins. In both cases weak hands end up selling into the buy orders of stronger hands.

were afraid because whales are not meant to pump the market at all times  . whales do also dump the market  but this can still be beneficial to some if they are investors/traders that constantly buying at the dips  . @ the guy above  . yes your right  . whales dont go anywhere   . whales are always here scouting the market though the increase in the volume's can also be caused by other factors or reasons  ,  its not always the whales that cause the volume to move up  .

Not an incredibly great spot to enter right now IMO. Things are pretty volatile right now, personally stepping out for now 'till things cool down. Bears have been pulling prices down but the significant pullback many are expecting before we break through the $5300s has not fully materialized yet. Things seem pretty uncertain right now, though a number of people think we could correct down to the upper $4000s from this movement before we make another run up.

Cardano ADA has many new features coming up. So it is expecting that people will try to pile up their coins. Altcoin should be seeing more in the BTC pair, and because of that, every project that has something new will receive more attention. But it is the price of Bitcoin that is going up.

It looks like $200,000,000 worth of tether's was just issued in the last week or so. Basically we saw alot of this in 2017 and usually we got a pump afterwards, it was called the "Tether pump".

Thank you for bringing this up, I don't usually look at Tether in making a prediction, but you have a point.
My own style was by just looking at the entire trading volume and in the past few days, there was a significant increase of daily trading volume.

$50 billion dollars trading volume in the market now is still relatively high, when we hip the highest marketcap in the first month of 2018, the trading volume was less than $50 billion, so this is a major improvement, and we can tell big money are flowing to the market now.

I think whales are given too much importance. They take credit for both good and bad that is happening to Bitcoin but I don't believe their influence is that big. It's the relatively small group of people with high volume of coins but they can't disturb the market so much, at least not in recent case of this small price increase.
