If you know how to stay low-key it is possible. Of course a number of people might know who satoshi is, but they choose not to divulge his identity maybe for personal reasons or security reasons. Staying anonymous online is easy as long as you know how to protect your identity.

Perhaps he/she did not brag about him/herself. If there was someone else, he probably had already appeared. Imagine, you create a system that whole world speaks with admiration, and you still remain unknown.

He was careful to not leave any details about his life that could uncover his identity, he used fresh account that couldn't be linked to any other accounts, he used anonymization tools like TOR to hide his IP. He also was careful with the coins that he minded, and no one knows for sure which of the early coins belong to him. So, overall Satoshi took many measures and was very careful, hence why his identity is still unknown, and I hope it will keep being that way, because everyone should have a right for privacy.

It's quite easy to stay anonymous with the different types of applications and techniques that can be used. IP hiding is one of them and who knows, he may or may not have used multiple accounts to hide himself inside the sea of people.

One thing is sure, Satoshi is one hell genius guy like from everything he created from nodes, mempool to blockchain and more cases that you thought wouldn't exist. Otherwise, staying anonymous is his plan to protect what he/she have and besides exposing his real identity perhaps wouldn't change anything and it's in fact the most coolest idea.

Everything is simple. He is just not working on Bitcoin anymore and not showing himself to the public. So he literally keeps staying anonymous by doing nothing.
Exactly the same will happen if you create some forum account, announce some project, work on it for some time and then leave it and will never use this forum account and keep living your life.

We can speculate only on how he stay anonymous but since he is the one who create this great technology so I dont think it is hard for him to stay anonymous. I know an easier and more efficient method. And it's completely free.

I'm creating a paper wallet by closing access to the Internet. Then I print it again with an offline printer. Moreover, because it was very simple I did it 25-30 times in a row and I took out each one (2 copies). What I don't use is that they're standing there. I put a public key of these wallets into Google Drive with an excel file. When any amount is entered, I process the transaction with my mobile device and follow the status of the wallets.

I've also kept these wallets in two reliable locations. Also for the time being, a wallet is used in a flash disk.

Yes, Ledger, Trezor and others can be useful. However, the easiest method for investments that we call HODL is still a paper wallet and I think this is a method that is fully compatible with the nature of Bitcoin.

My intelligent guess is Satoshi died  before Satoshi can reveal the identity and got anonymous forever.

Lol. Your theory that he/she died has been talked about before already which may or may not be true in this case. He/she may be living the rest of their life in the Bahamas. Who knows?

I think Satoshi stay anonymous because on it's security and safety. They said that he hold many bitcoin so he is so rich businessman. And who no one know if Satoshi is real or he is only a name that symbolized bitcoin. But for me it doesn't matter who is he or if he is real. Important thing is I already know how to use and how to handle bitcoin.

One thing am sure of is that satoshi planned this very well else one loop hole would have revealed his true identity and location. 9years who is not too far to get anyone’s details or image which means the person did well to clean them up. He is indeed a genius

I think Satoshi is very paranoid. All his communications are online, and if you know how to use the right tools, you will be very hard to track. Even in all his communications, he avoided topics that are personal. Most of his discussions are about improving bitcoin and this site. And once the government started sniffing bitcoin, he totally went dark.

I don't think he died I think that if he reveals himself a lot of government agency will be busy hunting him that why he stayed anonymous. He is the head and founder of bitcoin which have a global impact among the government.

As everything associated with bitcoin or cryptocurrency is functional through the internet staying anonymous isn't a big deal. Bitcoin development further happened in a perfect way though Satoshi stayed anonymous. This is the true growth, and now the community keeps on widening with large level of adoption and Marketplaces accepting bitcoin.

Satoshi wasn't paranoiac, he was a cryptographer. And a cryptographer who is not able to stay anonymous on the internet isn't able to create something like Bitcoin.

There are enough tools to stay anonymous easily. So "how" isn't really the question, the real question is "why?".
I can't say myself but if I were in his shoes I would surely do the same, and never ever I will let someone find my real ID. And not because I hold bitcoins, even without it, I'm sure some people would try to get my head dead or alive.

actually i believe he may not have stayed as anonymous as you would think. somebody said TOR but that would only mean for his online (web) presence not his node. as far as i know the early versions of bitcoin-QT did not support TOR, it was added in much later versions and that means if he ran a full node you could have known his IP address.

Before satoshi release this cryptocurrency everything is managed to stay anonymous and this includes his identity,so when bitcoin comes to existence and become popular satoshi stay in the dark so no one can find him being satoshi nakamoto
