Was watching news tonight and  some clever New York politician is looking to make legislation forcing all statewide elected politicians to release their New York state tax returns.

I think  this would mean

the Governor of NY = Governor Cuomo
the  Lieutenant Governor of NY = Kathleen Courtney Hochul  she may not have as she is an appointee
the Attorney General of NY = Letitia “Tish” James

  Both Federal senators =

1) Kirsten Gillibrand
2) Chuck Schumer

Donald Trump  Prez
Mike    Pence   VP

So if the bill passes six people  would have to give up and publicly release there New York State returns.

First off it is clever  way to fuck the Donald  give some credit to the idea. Even if you like the  Donald

Second off I don't  particularly  think  it will pass  so I picked number 2.

Third if it passes  Trump would not be able to stop it or would he?  very interesting question  here.

Have fun here.  We should all agree to disagree politley.

I think the idea was very clever way to get at Trump's Fed returns.

As  part of the fed returns are a part of New York returns.

BTW I saw this on Fox local news New York City version.

Now just because I voted no  don't think I like or hate Trump.
I simply think the bill won't be passed by NY.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

I think they could pass the bill.  I also think it would go to court as an unconstitutional law. So I voted maybe.

That would make for another poll  will courts rule for or against the bill.
You can post that poll if the law passes in NY

I see no way of positive usage of Trump's tax returns. So democrats are asking for it definitely in order to blame him for something. And as it usually happens they will get a reason for it out of nothing.
Almost the same situation was with russiagate when democrats been throwing different accusation that were not confirmed.

As long as Trump plays nice with Israel, he will be re-elected without any further problems.

Israel got the wall
Israel got its Jerusalem embassy
Israel got the Golan Heights
Israel got more wars in the Middle East
Israel got $36bn dollar funding

Trump is the best president Israel ever had.

Americans get nothing but their dead soldiers.

hmm... Trump hasn't started new wars in ME no?

That's like the one reason he's still a better choice than Hillary.

Did I miss something? He hasn't stopped the previous ones contrary to what he promised (omg he lied how possible best president why you leftard) but he didn't start new ones no?

Same shit as previous assholes POTUS?

The good old mentality of the US "if there is still a problem after bombing then use more bombs"?

It's not like USA can do anything but wars.

I haven’t reviewed the bill, but neither Trump nor Pence were elected by New York State in any way. They won a national election and the electoral votes from New York didn’t go to Trump/Pence.

Further, neither are employed by the state nor did they agree to release their returns prior to being elected.

I agree there are constitutional issues if the law was written so if the law was written that actually compelled Trump to release his returns. However, the way you describe the law, it doesn’t even appear to actually apply to Trump.

I would personally find it hilarious if they passed the law only to lose in court on the grounds that the law as written doesn’t apply to Trump.
