Ethereum is one of the popular blockchains being used by several projects in the crypto space. It's mass adoption is as a result of how easy it is to use. However, Ethereum maximum transaction per second as at now is about 15 TPS but it plans on increasing it's transaction  per second in the nearest future. In the first quarter of 2020 it plans on making several updates such as the development of plasma and sidechain technologies which would all contribute in increasing the transaction speed of Ethereum Blockchain Network.

Are there any more plans by the foundation as to making their blockchain network feasible to work with that i did not mention? Please share with the community and let's educate ourselves Smiley

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Increasing speed is great news because competitors also work. But what is the most important thing in blocks is speed? Or all the same simplicity and reliability.

This is a great improvement on the Ethereum improvement by the team members but can you please tell us the range of speed that we are talking about here because in as much as you talked about increase in transaction speed you never gave any figure. Can you give us the figures or if possible a range of it would be appreciated.

This is really good news for eth, technical improvements. At the same time, it is also conducive to the application of ETH. Now ETH is congested, which is not conducive to users' use, and has great expectations for the future development of ETH technology.

I remember they were trying to make it more than 15 with a protocol, maybe it was casper or something different. Still, they are working on it and it is not something can be done easily.

I guess so, but when I am creating a transaction on the ethereum blockchain, it took for about 30 seconds to successfully send a token to another address. But for me, this is enough, the transaction speed goes well compared to what bitcoin has, I am just wondering what do bitcoin lack on its feature that prohibits it to do the same thing as ethereum do?

Whatever they need to really do to cover up some loop holes that might give other competitors chance of overtaking then, they better do it, the earlier the better. We have some projects too such as EOS also planning to launch their own smart contract platform and I am sure they will build on the weakness of the existing one which is Ethereum.

I do understand that ethereum has a very large community too as many projects are being development based on ethereum blockchain, so this is the time that they really need to increase their speed and not in future to be able to keep their top position.

Yes you are right so many competitor, also the transaction speed so fast, but i think in crypto world about transaction is no2, the number one is community, see bitcoin the speed, also transactio fee is so high but still be no1 cryptocoin. So even ethereum doesnt upgrade the system, still be the great altcoin but we hope the sistem get upgraded
