Just like theyoungmillionaire, I also believe my fellow countryman should be the first priority so we can help them increase their status and make them feel that Merits isn't a limiter for Good Accounts.

So here is the thing, I've been trying to save my sMerits just for my thread Filipino Account Review, but I'm not getting any worthy applications to give them my sMerits. I feel sorry for what I did, I have just been a Merit Spammer right now. I feel ashamed for not being able to find good posts of my fellow humans here.

There are only few of them I see mostly active, and yet they're already on the High Ranks. Am I too strict on my own preferences on giving out my sMerits?

 Cry

Merit Spam of cabalism13

P.S. if my sMerits isn' t limited I could have given more in just a short time, only just reviewing some other foreign accounts. Sad

You shouldn't give our fellow countrymen "first priority" in the first place. If someone makes a good topic or reply, then give the user merits regardless of his/her nationality, rank, or campaign. There are a lot of lazy people from our country in the first place; I know you have good intentions with this, but giving them "first priority" just because they're also filipinos is just going to make it worse.

EDIT: Just to add OP: wala namang expiration yang merits. So makakapaghintay naman yan. Abang abang lang ng deserving posts.

You have your own standard of giving sMerit at sa tingin it's too high for some of us here (don't worry i am not after merit). You worked hard para makamit mo yong rank mo ngayon at ilang merits nalang Sr Member ka na at sa tingin ko lang kapag bibigyan mo ng merit ang isang newbie, some of the senior members (foriegn) might think that you are helping them to rank up.

You will be having a hard time finding Filipino newbies na magaling mag-post in sense that they are still learning or should we say nangangapa pa sila dito unless they are alts.

Don't be offended as it is only my opinion, youngmillionaire has a different mindset from yours. I've seen him giving merits to posts from newbies/jr members na hindi naman kalaliman pero praktical. Anyways, stick to your standard brader, that is who you are.

There's nothing wrong with giving newbies merits at all, and I know majority of "foreign senior members" would also agree.

Why are you giving merit to other people? Its purpose is to help them rank up and it is a gift because you like his/her post. To make sure not to give suspicion to foreign members, make sure na yung bibigyan mo ng merit is deserving.

We have all our ways with how and when we spend our merits. Depende talaga kung natuwa ka o hindi.

In a way, I would still like to help those who needs it and wants it enough to make an effort. I had no idea with what merit was when it came out and I just gave it all in one time, and what a way to waste it on, I thought it was that easy and that's my consequence in not reading enough and not being valuable enough to look. I think if I had become a merit source, it would be a lot of help towards our members here but it wasn't what I expected of the outcome, I didn't become one. So I just continued and moved on.

Ngayon, I understand how much it would mean to someone to be merited, especially if it has the effort of coming up with a specific topic or a great reply to point out. I hope in the near future, mas madaming maging active, high ranking or low ranking, it would be nice to have a real community within us.

Hindi madali mag ka merit pero you would receive it when you deserve it.

..your intention to give "first priority" merit to our fellow countrymen is admirable because you are just concern for them to be able to rank up..and this is your own way to spend your merit and no one can stop you by doing that..

Its a good choice that you prioritize your countrymen in giving your merits. Now the question is "Meron bang mga members na worth it na bigyan ng merit?"

To be honest, di ako ganun kagaling magpost or may mga posts akong di merit worthy pero nakakakuha din ako in my own ways and I'm happy with it. I didn't include myself since I'm not a merit worthy user  Grin

Yes, I'm bias about it, however, ito ay hard earned merits ko, lahat ng merits ko ay pinaghirapan ko sa pagpost at pinag-isipan, that is why I have the right kung saan ko to ibibigay. I know some people might not agree with it. It is my choice. As I have said before, sending merit ay nasa verdict ng taong nagmamay-ari nito.

Nagbibigay din ako ng merit sa mga newbies/jr. members na tingin ko ay tama naman ang sagot niya at magiging mabuting member siya in the future and now some of them are good contributors, yung iba, I don't know what happened. Different people, different mindset. I know the feeling of being a newbie, kaya kung my time akong tumulong, tumutulong ako. I remember my very first 2 merit was from rickbig41, I was inspired and excited to post more and do something here in the forum even if I am a newbie. Giving to other people will surely make you happy and make that person see some hope in this forum na tinatakwil ang newbies (spammer newbies). Take a look at me now, that +2 was the beginning of theyoungmillionaire and then I met TMAN on a challenge, I know some people hate them or him because of some I don't know stuff they are saying, but, TMAN is a great guy. Some people may think his ways are wrong, I myself think he is one of a kind person and just being true to himself on his judgement. I am their legacy.

Like for example +50:
tapos be active ka sa forum at the same time na abide natin ung rules. hirap nga situation mo pero sana get well soon, magastos nga yang dialysis. and same here ready to learn, research and kahapon pa ko mindblown. hanggang ngayun pala.
Other people might think na halatang farm merits lang yan, pero ibang tao or yung mismong nagsend ay iba ang judgement sa bagay na yan, at remember nasa sMerit holder pa din ang decision nito kahit saan natin angulo tingnan. Kaya hindi moderated ang merit dahil sa ganitong mga scenario, it will just take time to investigate such case.

Just think about it, take responsbility on your every actions.

Hands Up to you bro, it seems that the Merits we've received so far came from the same persons at first. And now we're here, it's really fun to see that their are people who notice us.

Smiley

Tingin ko gusto nyang mangyari dito magkaron tayo ng "UNITY" upang pare parehas tayong umangat like what other merit source do.

Kung oobserbahan nyo ung ibang merit source mapapansin nyo na some of them are bias in favor of their nationality, sometimes when Im browsing some accounts Im shocked where do they get their merits and go deeper to their profile and most of the time I translate their merited post and "again" most of the time after I translated it their post is not worth to get merit.

Maybe the merit source on their locals have low standards on giving merits to their co-locals and thats we call "UNITY".

Im not telling na gayahin natin sila, maybe lower our standards a little will mean a lot.

Most of the times even in online games ung mga magkakapwa pinoy pa ang naghihilaan pababa while the other countries are helping each other to win the game.

Well Kabayan, giving merit is both subjective and objective..
the objective one is the content and the subjective one is you "liking" a post. there is always a bias there. it is either you are influenced or informed, and by that you gain something out of it, that's when you decide giving them merit

Merit system is free to everyone, if we got smerit no one care about us, maari tayung pumili kung sino ang pagbibigyan natin mapa high rank, kilalang account or newbies.

I feel you bro.

Ang kinakatakot ko lang baka kasi magkaroon sila ng bad impression dito sa forum and sa cryptocurrency (in worst case scenario) in general which is not good if ever happened because our community tend to diminish instead of expanding.

Edit: Congrats! cabalism13. Sr. Member ka na pala? Ang galing mo talaga, just keep up the good work Smiley.
