Someone hacked my account and tried to banned my account. I have account access now. I don't need any merit because I am only a simple bounty hunter. I didn't send any personal message by asking merit. Please help me for withdrawing red trust from my account.

I think this is culprit's account: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2579448

You definitely sent me a PM asking for merit, which I quoted in another thread.

If you want people to believe the tale you're spinning, why don't you explain how your account got hacked and how you managed to regain access to it?  Also, why would the alleged hacker have anything against you such that he would send out a PM begging for merits?  Do you know Tomoit?

I'm cynical by nature.  I think you're concocting this story because I negged you for the merit begging via PM.  It's the old "I gotz haxxed!" excuse, which I've seen more times than I can count.

Edit, this is the PM I got:

Hey Bro, Give Me Some Merit. I want to up my Rank Full Member to Legendary.

Well are you going to explain how you got hacked and how you recovered your account?  If you don't give answers to those questions, nobody is going to believe you and the negative trust is going to stay put.  Keep in mind that members here generally have very little sympathy for career bounty hunters such as yourself and would be much happier if you were eradicated from the forum altogether.

My password was my phone number. Someone hacked it and sent pm to many people. When I see it, I changed my password quickly

Op, that's either an outright lie trying to cover for a huge mistake you did or you're not telling us the full details of what was behind this...

Rather than a hack, I think you tried to either sell your account or something close to and things didn't work out.
What bothers me to the normal scenario of faking a hack is that the user has taken a hiatus from his daily bounty posting from April 8th, while from March he hasn't missed a single day of posting his usual twitter links.

Missing his bounty duty for a hacking story to cover some merit begging...meh...

Please trust me I don't need any merit and I didn't send those pm. I am not nonsense that I will pm for asking merit to someone let alone The Pharmacist, Vod, Lutpin. They are much conscious about merit abuse. If I need merit and have intension to get merit, I may be send someone who are not familiar. Why I will send pm to The Pharmacist, Vod and lutpin for getting red trust?

You never changed your password, it should have been updated on your profile trust page.

Correction, you did >

A full member user ask for merit by pm from Vod and The pharmacist !!

Two possibilities:
1- This user doesn't definitely know about rules or DT or merit system. If one day I receive a similar ask from a full member account who have no trust history, I would explain to him that he is doing a wrong act before thinking to tag him.
2- The account has changed hand and someone is trying to destroy the reputation of that profile and should be tagged for a hack suspection until ownership verification.

I don't think op is lying about the hack attempt

@OP
You need solid proofs that your account had changed hands.
If someone tried to destroy your reputation, I think he succeeded.
DT members are strictly severe, as you can see.

Absolutely. Someone is trying to destroy my reputation. My password my mobile number. I think it is possible to get access. I changed my password when I understood that. Really I don't need any merit and I have still no intention for merit. I am only a bounty hunter.

Can you sign a message from address quoted here?

Bitcoin address: 1JJbUCz9pQZwddv9iJ7cBYvCUvGcywGXPs

It could atleast prove you are the original owner of the account.

I think the OP is quite familiar with the repeuted users here and would surely not send those merit begging message intentionally. Also the password was changed recently which points to the hack, but surely does not prove it.

I'm quoting myself from the Reputation board:
I have seen information about your password change from BPIP.
I think BPIP is incorrect:
Quote
4/9/2019 5:51:54 AM           password changed
4/10/2019 5:51:54 AM           password changed
Note how the time is exactly the same, but a day later.

However, seclog shows only one entry:
Quote
Today at 07:51:54 AM - Shafiqul Islam - password changed
(archived)
Only one password change would make sense, if an attacker had changed the password, the original owner would have lost access.

1. So you created your account today at 04:47 AM forum time

2. 8 minutes later 04:55 AM forum time, you made  reply on a thread of which you also clearly know is off topic  Roll Eyes
Great post. LoyceV is a hard worker and Foram lover. I think LoyceV will good place in future. I seen many LoyceV Thrade and post. All post Great & Harmfully. Best of luck you And Your Hard Work LoyceV.... Smiley Smiley

3. 3 minutes after you made the reply, at  04:58 AM forum time Mr Shafiqul Islam who has been a serial bounty spammer with over 95 of his post history containing bounty report links sends you 2 merits.

4. 11 minutes later, 05:09 AM forum time, after getting the Merit... you created this topic, Wow... that was quick.
This story doesn't add up indeed. Considering how weird this is, from meriting, instantly complaining about it, and sending PMs, it could be Shafiqul Islam's account really got "hacked".

My password was my phone number.
A phone number is not a password, a password is something nobody else can know.

Someone tried to banned my account from the forum.
Posting plagiarism is the fastest path to a ban.

I think OP may be speaking the truth. It's not 100% convincing, maybe not even 50%, but enough for reasonable doubt.

Strange! OP changed password yesterday and today. I meand 2 times already changed password. Red tag sent today. According to The Pharmacist quote you had asked for merit today at 02:38:25 AM. You have changed password toady 05:51:54 AM, almost 3 hours gap. But interesting thing is, you have changed password exactly after 24 hours, how is it possible? Look like you had set a timer to change password.

Will we consider that you had tried it yourself by changing password? If your account hacked yesterday since password changed yesterday then how you have recovered your account without admin help ? Is it possible ? We can see that had change password 2 times. That means yesterday got hacked and today you got red tag and change password again. Not valid your excuse, I think we need more explanation how you got hacked and how you recover it again.

What bothers me to the normal scenario of faking a hack is that the user has taken a hiatus from his daily bounty posting from April 8th, while from March he hasn't missed a single day of posting his usual twitter links.

That's not completely accurate, he hasn't posted between 5th- 7th April and Mar 31 to Apr 2nd. So there are posting gaps, missing a day without his usual crap is not an incident.

If I was OP and I was telling the truth I'd be more worried not only about my bitcointalk account but everything that is stored on my computer.

Well Shafiqul Islam, looking through your post history it's clear you haven't be contributing positively but instead spamming the forum with just bounty reports almost on weekly basis. I can't say if you were hacked or not (although it looks like a hack as no human in his/her right sense will abuse merit & beg merit simultaneously putting their account at risk of been red tagged). but considering the usefulness of your account to the forum I don't anyone who be interested in your case. Even if you get untagged, you can easily be tagged for spamming (yes people tag for that too). Just to render your account useless so you stop spamming the forum.

I took the OP as just another scammer/spammer. But when I think about it deeply, I wonder why would a reputed member with a good rank pm beg for merits

He's a spammer and whether or not he tells the truth he should remain tagged. Check Veleor's findings which points to him abusing bounties with alts.

If I was OP and I was telling the truth I'd be more worried not only about my bitcointalk account but everything that is stored on my computer.

My fault, checking his history on a tablet involves so much scrolling I might have missed the essential part...

But still, this is a weird thing.
And assuming he is innocent, how the heck he is going to prove he wasn't hacked?
Even IP logs won't prove anything, he could have used a VPN, on the other side the merited account is new, you can't track anything and link them....

As LoyceV if he wanted to get him banned he would have posted some copy/pasted content if he wanted to profit he wouldn't have just sent some merit but took over the account which is (I guess) worth more..

This is one of those times I feel so glad I'm not a mod or a DT member.
