IMO someone is trying to make the OP look bad and ruin his reputation.

The merit abuse is just too obvious for me to believe that someone was actually trying to give merit to themselves. Plus the fact that a thread about receiving the merit was immediately opened, presumably trying to bring attention to the *very* obvious merit abuse.

Would you mind giving us the exact chronological order of events! If there is no interference then maybe you are telling the truth and DT members who tagged you will give you the benefit of the doubt and remove their feedbacks (no guarantees).

...But when I think about it deeply, I wonder why would a reputed member with a good rank pm beg for merits specially to people who he knows are mods (excuse me if am wrong, I have little knowledge on mod positions)...

He is not a reputable member (no positive contribution to the forum till now) and they are not mods, they are DT members.

I'm inclined to agree with QS and the OP here.

If you look at the post history of Tomoit, it is highly suspicious. A brand new user who says in his first post that he has seen many great posts by LoyceV, but reiterates in his second post he is brand new. Makes a trash post, and within 15 minutes gains two merit and opens a new topic highlighting the fact he gained two merit. His first post is also written with very unusual spelling mistakes (Foram, Thrade), and this behavior is not repeated through the following posts. And the account was active only long enough to make that thread, and has been inactive since.

As OP says, his entire post history is bounty reports - merits mean nothing for such a user. We also know that bounty hunters are notoriously awful at protecting their privacy, so I would not be surprised at all if his phone number, which he claims is his password, is all over Facebook, Telegram, bounty spreadsheets, and the like.

I'm certainly not defending bounty hunter spammers here, but OP's story is at least plausible.

I do not know if it has anything to do with this whole situation which alone is confusing enough but last summer, a guy named Lucifers attempts to blackmail multiple bounty hunters by sending them private messages requesting either ETH or merit in exchange for not disclosing the addresses that link them. As it can be seen here OP and his alt both pay 3 merits within 10 minutes (many others do the same).

Do you think this could be somehow connected with Tomoit?

I am not agree with you at this point, OP really isn't well reputed member. So how someone will try to damage his/her reputation? OP isn't BM, DT, moderator or something else like that. If someone have enough knowledge that how to hack bitcointalk account then hacker don't know how to ban bitcointalk account ? Will you believe it? At least I would not like to believe it. Hacker could copy paste easily in order to ban account or hacker could change password to continue use. Why hacker will target a non reputed user ?

Asking exactly those who tag merit beggars for merit is really a fishy.  He actually needs 150 more merit to really rank up, and in the PMs he says that he want to rank up to Legendary. When you read the PMs they look really like someone is trying to a set up the OP.

I normally report guys like the OP, but this time I'm willing to conclude that the OP is the victim. On the other hand the Tomoit, complaining about getting merit and drawing attention to him and the case is a bit weird.There is something fishy there too.

Few thing in favor of OP.
1. As a Twit - face book bounty hunter,  Shafiqul Islam do not need Merit.
2. Tomoit is a newbie, but Tomoit did Merit abuse in LoyceV thread. (Highly visible thread.)
3. Newbie knowing LoyceV for long time.
4. Newbie knowing what Merit is, what merit abuse is and how it can bought to the attention.
5.OP password is changed only once.
6. Tomoit already know how to make off topic and spam post.

Actually he posted the topic on the meta board and it was reported to be moved to reputation board. Again Tomoit was smart knowing posting on meta (although it's the wrong board for such issue) will draw more attention to the post as it just did. If only Shafiqul Islam was a decent/quality poster then this issue would had been one to keep tab on but he isn't and removing his tag won't do the forum any good either.

Note, he posted a Twitter campaign November 22, 2017, beginning and April 8, 2019, end.
The logic of @Shafiqul, still holding an account, is the owner.

Yes, you are right someone accessed my account with my real password. Hacker accessed my account with the user's password. Because my password was my mobile number. Please help me to remove my red tag. Trust me I didn't send any personal message for asking merit. @Tomoit created a new account and made a post then sent 2 merit from my account. S/he was that culprit who sent those personal message. Try to match the post of him/her and message style. Same writing style on his/her post and message. Please

Trust me.

You haven't provided any reason why anybody should trust you.  All of the possible scenarios put forth as to why it might not have been you who sent the PMs just aren't believable.  And ultimately there's no real way to know if some idiot on your bounty farm took control of your account for a few minutes so that they could send merit-begging PMs to DT members and thereby get you into trouble.  The only thing that is known for sure is that those PMs came from your account and you are responsible for your account's security and for all the words that get written with your account.

I'd be happy to remove my feedback if you could convince me you did indeed get hacked, but obviously you cannot do so.

It's obvious that it just a story to cover up all of your wrongdoings. Accounts can't be hacked/hijacked easily if they have no access to it, simple as that. It's also your fault for being careless on your account so everything that has been done by your account will receive judgment.

You can't easily provide any proofs to help you up on your situation. It's clearly shown that you're a bounty hunter assuming that you also need merits to be able to participate any bounty campaigns. Members of this community that focuses only on bounties at some point considered as low reputation or don't-care members. If hacking was really an issue, then why my account is still visible? I have plenty of merits, most of us have great reputation, hackers should target those.
