I doubt that Warren Buffett will do that for two obvious reasons. One : He will not ruin his good reputation by pulling stunts like this, because he built an empire of power on people's trust in him and the decisions and opinions that he makes.

Two : He does not have to do that, because he is already a multi Billionaire and using underhanded tactics like this will cause negative consequences for the value of his shares in Berkshire Hathaway.

We have seen how some world class investors and economic pundits and some big banks have criticized the BITCOIN calling it a bubble without any underlying value but a merely speculation and a Pyramid Scheme. We all know they had to adopt this FUD strategy in order to protect their malicious empire and ensure their continues control over the people's sovereign wealth through policy manipulation, they see this new technology as a big threat to their bad practice. Instead of telling the people the truth, they praise the blockchain and publicly denounce the bitcoin.

What if men like Warren Buffet makes a U-turn and praises the bitcoin that he had not fully study it and understood it during the times he did criticized it? that during those years of his criticism, he had bought some bitcoin through a third party and kept same, just to be sure of the direction. What will his disciples that all believed him do when the bitcoin might have already hit $250,000 by year 2020. Oh boy, they just can't help but have themselves to blame, since he didn't tell them under duress never to buy the bitcoin. At the end when we listen to expert on every issue and they later turn out not to be 100% right, our simply take responsibility for allowing someone else think for us. Wisely choose your destiny.

Men like warren buffet wants you to listen to them and pay heed to their advices. I also think that he doesn't fully believe all his negative statements about bitcoin and just says the things he say to try and get people out. Making your own research takes you away from these people's influence. It's going to feel a lot better when you decide on your own and they're proven wrong.

At first everyone hates bitcoin, but after a while they love him. That's because when they read bitcoin, they don't know what bitcoin is and what its benefits are. And after they learn bitcoin, there they feel in love.

Not all, real hater will stay as hater no matter what is happening with bitcoin. They wont care if there are some good benefits, and they wont fall in love with bitcoin as they wont learn about it because they hate it already since the beginning. It is normal in this world, there must be pros and cons for something.

I think so, many people outside criticize bitcoin, about bubble, Ponzi scheme, and so on. some of them actually joined bitcoin because
they knew the benefits, and some of them still hated it.

Yeah, that is because many people get scam with those programs and they talk to other people to be careful with bitcoin and stay away from bitcoin. But if they can learn deeper about bitcoin, I am sure that they can understand that bitcoin will not harm them and only the programs that could do that because that program was searching to make a profit from the people. They keep saying bad about bitcoin, and we don't have to bother with them because it's only a waste of time.

when I look back and I see how much I would have made if I had known bitcoin in the past, it give me courage to continue believing in bitcoin no matter what actually happened. The current state of bitcoin will surely be over one days and those that never give up will be the people that benefit at first. I never stop keeping my coin and making progress in term of learning more and more about crypto.

Warren Buffet is really good at trading but doesn't really know bitcoin and the blockchain on the back of it. Warren just says that because he doesn't want his disciples to risk their money in not sure because he doesn't really know it. I don't care what others think of bitcoin but I read their opinions out of curiosity. You can see they are getting desperate when people like Jamie Dimon start saying good things about it after criticizing it for years. Their opinions are changing like the wind and you should be like a rock that doesn't care from which side the wind is blowing.

Warren is too stubborn to change but he's also too old to see bitcoin reach its full potential. It will take at least another 10 years.

It's no longer a question
is bitcoin a successful technology and will benefit humanity or not?
but the question has become
how to prevent or delay adoption until we arrange our papers and we are controlling
that is how anti-bitcoin thinkers are thinking now
so I agree with in that the person must rely on himself to make his decision

Many traditional investors is calling bitcoin a bubble because they can't understand the concept of this new technology, and the government is not happy with the btc feature so there are many fud news that being speculated, if there are more expert suggest bitcoin, I think there will be more people joining because they will assume that the expert already do the research and more experience avout investing, so they will just throw the money in, but in the end we need to responsible with our act, so ita better to do your own research rather than just follow advices so when something happen you won't be disappointed

If I was that rich I would also keep most of my investments in traditional stocks and properties.  If your already mega wealthy there is no reason to invest in a very volatile asset that may or may not exist in the future.  Don't forget that Warren also owns stock in banks so he is speaking out against btc for business reasons.

There are only 2 possibilities why Warren Buffet antagonized btc, 1) Because it is a big threat on the centralized banking system where he reigns and 2) Because he also want to join the boat thus he do his very best to create FUDs in order to decrease btc's price. Among the two, I think the first one is the most possible thing could happen. I don't think Warren Buffet will shift into crypto because I believe that such big personalities like him are already prideful, a person who will not revoke his words. Besides, his name in the field where he belongs might vanish.

Anyway, that was only a "what if" . In my opinion, if that happens then the most affected will be not him but his followers. They already miss the opportubity of making profits while btc is not yet in maturity stage. Hmm, so sad for them if ever.
Your money is in your hands, you should be the manipulator of it not the other people even how big and famous he is.
