the word "airdrop" has been misused and abused heavily by many projects
they used airdrop to describe distribution of their tokens thru various bounty works
nowadays there are only a few true airdrops, and most of them require KYC
But many airdrops require KYC now and you are basically selling your identity for a few $, so be careful with that.
Most airdrops require KYC. You're pretty much exchanging your personal information for some lousy tokens that aren't even worth one whole dollar.

and when you do KYC with fake airdrops, you're losing much more than you gain
