Why is it forbidden to motivate others to buy Bitcoin?

But then why the mainstream magazines can do the opposite and nobody complains?

We all know that they spread FUD news so that everybody sells their positions so that the Elites buy at a low price.
That has been their strategy all over the 2018.

Indeed i've read a news on WSJ and other sites on Dec. 2017 saying that the governments would be buying cryptocurrencies to have an additional reserve, other than gold and foreign currencies.

Ask yourself: why did the bear run happen last year if the govs where buying?
There's only one answer: FUD news, and too many people that believe them and get scared , perhaps because you still haven't learned to HODL what you can afford to lose.
That's why you are all susceptible to FUD.

Please learn to control your emotions , and consider that even the gov knows that "BTC is too big to fail", that's why they haven't banned it, like the linked article says.

That means only one thing: BTC is the future.
There's no need to be impressed by scarecrows.

But why the FUD journalists paid by the gov are not labeled by anyone?

They clearly don't wish the well-being and wealth of the people.

Well it isn't forbidden it is just that some people don't want to motivate others personally it is more easier to motivate them online rather than doing it on person.
I don't also want to do it I don't want to motivate them since the price is unpredictable they might lose money bacause of it and it could be my fault.

I think if most people take heed to that mantra the world would be a better place and we as a society would get things done instead of nitpicking and complaining about how things are.
This definitely would apply to most alt coins out there. Just look at ethereum classic and that flustercluck!

Its not recommended to motivate people to but because bitcoin is a very risky investment when something goes wrong people will blame you, but when they make profit nobody will grateful to you and I don't believe government will store bitcoin as additional reserve, if the government really sure about bitcoin then they already legalize it

Spreading fud news by journalists is one of the government ways to keep people away from bitcoin, and it's the journalist job to make the news as controversial as possible

How can you be so sure about this? I'm pretty sure a lot of people got fucked up and complains a lot about those media shill. I personally prefer not to give any financial advice, just stating my opinion about some project in order to make sure nobody follows it blindly.

It's a matter of ethics imo. And maybe those media don't have any ethics at all if they posted a news titled: "Buy XXX now! Hold and get Lambo later". I've learned a lot from 2018, and one of them is to make sure not to follow any buy hold sell news in TG, 4chan or other sites.

Some people are just really closed minded with the fact that it could help people out. Maybe factors that affected them are the possibilities of fraudulent acts that can be done with it, but not everything is about that. I think there are many things that people have concerns regarding its place in our generation.

With those reasons, it would be hard to consider what the layman could conclude without knowing Bitcoin entirely. I think that's why they need to discover what Bitcoin is first, here in our forum and then check what it could do and possible things can be done when Bitcoin is implemented.

Yeah i agree with your point of view. But some people want to help and the only for some or one of the only ways to help is precisely advertising.

I personally don't think that right now is the time to do that since the wide adoption is not here at all. In fact, it will take a while from now. But, can you blame those who still want to try to help even sometimes in Bitcoin's growth? They are doing something good for all of us.

You might now want to get blame if the user you encourage might get into trouble like having huge debt because of investing in a highly volatile bitcoin in terms of.its liquidity. This is all I can think on why it is not encourage to invite everyone to invest in bitcoin without prior knowledge. This is why we have the forum to which it can function for resources if there is any inquiries regarding the system.

As bitcoin is like inviting everybody on their own decision by letting them know about the risk. In short this is all.about joining at your own risk, do your own research and even advise.to invest money you can afford to.lose.

if the part inside the quotation marks is all that is said then it is NOT advice, it is nonsense. an advice is when there is some explanation included about why should anyone buy and why should they hold and for how long and lots of others. just spamming "buy and HODL" is not constructive.

not necessarily. most of these news sites  are created by poor idiots who are trying to make "money" from their traffic and they are foolishly publishing crap. they may not even own any bitcoin themselves.

you are wrong. a bear market is just as natural as a bull market. and it is a necessary part of the trends that any market has. and when we enter a big bubble like in 2017 seeing a bear market is inevitable.
the only thing you can argue about is the prolonged state of the bear market and certain suspicious drops. for example i myself find the drop from $20k to $10k the most healthy, from $10k to $6k less natural but still understandable due to the downward trend and fear and all the shorts. but i consider the drop below $6k to be pure manipulation.

I don't think that it is forbidden to motivate others to buy bitcoin, but we must explain that it's their decision and it's better they research more about bitcoin. Then when they are ready and sure to invest in bitcoin, we can guide them to buy in the right exchanges, and we can suggest keeping that bitcoin if they don't want to make anything.
I already tell about bitcoin to all of my friends, some of them feel that bitcoin offers something and they feel that bitcoin is a way to make money on the internet. So they buy bitcoin after they research and now, they can invest and trade at the same time.

In my experience on this forum, promoting Bitcoin and discussion the technology is key to it's success. The word discuss is also very important, because if everyone just created posts to tell people to hoard their coins and to buy more bitcoins, then it will look bad to new people visiting this forum.    <We will look like a bunch of amateur shills for Bitcoin and also people trying to scam other people into buying more coins.> 

You can still created threads where you discuss reasons why you are saying Bitcoin will succeed or why the price will go up, but it will end up in the speculation area of this forum.

Actually I don't think the main reason of the bear market is FUD news. It is all about market cycle. Yes it is a big oneee!

If this FUD could be affected on this market so much, then I am sure that Bitcoin price would be dropped too much more! FUD news never ends in this market. But market maker doesn't interest with this news. They are watching market completely, I think.

Not until the government and the big banks are done filling their treasury with bitcoin they are not likely  to let go off the paid FUD. The losers are the ones that think the big banks were created in their own interest and don't think why they will  have to pay a very ridiculous interest rate on loan but get a peanut on a fixed deposit, at the end, inflation will still render the accrued fixed deposit interest worthless. Someone once said "if we don't have plans for your money, someone will help you spend it."

No, that is not forbidden, you have the right to motivate others and it's up to you if someday they will come back and blame you after they have a ton of losses in investing but failed. But if I were you, just focus what you have done in the crypto market and prove to them that crypto investment has a possible huge of income if you know how to manage with it.
I think you should have to conduct seminars and orientations if you want to motivate people before they stepping in on the crypto investment.

We should make a distinction between informing others about bitcoin and convincing them to buy it. I think the former is a good idea while the latter usually isn't. As the market has shown over the last 16 months, it is highly volatile and because of that most people cannot stomach the action. In this market, $1000 can easily turn to $100 or even less - and the opposite is also true. I'd stick to mainly discussing the technical aspects or advantages of using cryptocurrency instead.

That's much better, teach them how to select quality coins to invest their money instead of directly tell them what you are supporting, it's their money so they need to learn how to save it and not to be moved by anything, self assessment can bring them to  much better journey and much higher successful rate than leaning to anyone to ride with.

But I see the exact opposite thing on the forum and other places. People keep on suggesting other to buy crypto currencies and hold them as long as possible. Even though when the times wrong, they till suggest blandly to buy and keep holding. Not to sell even though they would have made profit and saved themselves from suffering from losses.
And yeah, the mainstream media discourages people from investing on bitcoin/cryptocurrencies because they are controlled by the government and they also like to create controversies.
