Slowdeath always checks domain registration and said no for whatever services that were registered in Panama (or if they're hiding behind whois guard).

But it's true that most services who use whois guard are shady, so approach with caution.

I disagree with that. Having a guard doesn't necessarily mean they're trying to operate a shady business. They can also be hiding for privacy reasons which are totally fine in the crypto environment. I personally would hide my domains with WhoIsGuard even if I'm running a simple bitcoin price calculator online.
