I don't think someone would have to bet on that fight because we all know who will be going to win at the end anyway. But watching these great fighters just for the sake of fun, the audience will spend money just to watch them fight in the ring. Did any sportsbook listed his  match? I was kinda late to show my support to him by betting with his first fight ever. It was also too late for me to know that Jimuel will take his match but good thing that he nailed it! There's now someone to continue the Pacman legacy and it was him.

I don't think that Jimuel Pacquiao would consider pro boxing as a career considering that he is a son of a billionaire and a politician. He just box to add more recognition and i won't be surprised if one day he would star in one tele-series here in the Philippines. Showbiz might be suitable for the younger Pacquiao not boxing. Just my thought.

I agree they just want promotion and hype and the first one is the Mayweather fight, but it also does harm to their fighters because people will perceive fighters from Rizin are so so fighters imagine one of their top fighter getting knock out in the first round compared to MMA's Mcgregor who lasted more than 8 rounds.

Yes pacman is a very athletic person and fighting in the octagon may be one of his goals. He is even one of the shareholder of the famous One Fighting Championship in ASIA. That might be a signal before of his interest towards Mixed Martial Arts. In the end whatever he wanted to do one thing is for sure. Filipinos will be supporting him all out

They really wanted to do that because of money, no other reasons behind all those changes. Manny did that decision at a very serious and very crucial moment, because if he was satisfied from previous boxing promoter he won't divert to new one. With this strategy, the probability of gaining more possible opponents who has an interest to fight for Pacman would arise. Sooner or later more demands on his boxing career definitely take another milestone on his career, so let's expect another cheers for this boxing politician.

I don't agree about him being good in the politics, i bet he has no idea what's happening inside the senate and the rampant corruption inside it, he was basically got in the senate because of his popularity and not this knowledge

there is more possibilities to that being an actor than a boxing champ, the kid already started dating an actress. he already had fame and the money he can spend. he'd rather chose to be a politician or a businessman than be in the shadow of his old man. just so you know Manny Pacquioa has already established numerous businesses.

Manny Pacquiao in MMA? No thanks, I think Connor McGregor entering boxing is enough to show that even if you are good in another combat sport you won't be good in another combat sport, his dominance in MMA didn't gave him the edge he is talking about. The same thing can be said for Pacquiao as even in decades of training boxing won't be enough for him to survive a MMA seasoned pro. Pacquiao would be smart if he takes the route Mayweather has took by doing another exhibition boxing match, but surely for him still having a belt in pro-boxing doing this exhibition match would only harm his reputation.
