There is an old bounty manager who has more than 20 -negative feedbacks. And he claims that he is the part of the running project. So the project is a scam too or not?
Will share the link of both bounty manager and project ones someone senior member (reputable member) of forum clear this.

I would say that just because a team hired a manager with a bad reputation, does not mean their project itsself is a scam. The company who hired the manager may have been referred to the person, or may not have found them on bitcointalk period. Many companies may not know how the forum works either. They might not look at a users reputation or even know what any of it means.

It's entirely possible the project is a scam but not based on who they hired as a manager. The best thing to do is PM the company or companies in question and inform them of your concerns. Then go from there.

If he is a part of a team then the project might be a scam. Better disclose all so that anyone can see and give their opinion. If that is really scam then people will be able to stay away from that project. If he works as a bounty manager then still that is risky for the people who will take part in the campaign.

Very likely. I'd probably tag the whole thing and everyone involved. One has to differentiante between someone with 1 negative rating and someone with many. In the case of the former, it is much less likely that the whole thing is a scam.

If he is part of the team then chances of it being a scammy project are very high. Heck, he could have even arranged the team himself  Grin.
It's the company's responsibility to do due diligence on their Team members and see if they don't have any past fraud related wrong doing because after all, they are about to handle people's money.

If they can't even do a simple back ground check then they don't deserve to handle investors' funds. As long as that project appears here on bitcointalk where the said member has scammed bounty hunters before or promoted scam then the project should be brought on the spotlight.

What is the proof that he linked to that project if he is not managing the bounties. We can't conclude that project is scam just based on one person.

Did you mean that member was a scam campaign manager who participated as a member of another campaign and did not run the campaign?
What is the reason for - 20 negative trust? Is scam, selling accounts or something else?

Generally, no fire without smoke. If you are skeptical about any project and you have a strong motivation, post more about it here and stay away from investing/joining in that project.

If a team member is a scammer, there is a high probability that all projects the person associated might be a scam. We would consider such project highly suspicious and must be investigated.
Here is one example of a couple that is involved in 8 projects and 4 of them are scams.

To be honest, a same team creating multiple scam projects just using same script and templates. But unfortunately we are unable to identify each although I had detected one few days ago.

According to OP, if scammer part of team then there is high chance that project would turned into scam eventually. It's not just my opinions, its previous experience and I believe most of members know that. So there is high risk of investment and they deserve red rag as warning for investors and hunters as well.

It would be better if OP like to share more details. So we cam realized the real case.

I would say that just because a team hired a manager with a bad reputation, does not mean their project itsself is a scam.
I'd tend to agree with that, but oh man....any project that jamalaezaz is attached to, I would think twice about being involved with.  He is one of the shadiest members I've come across here, and that's no exaggeration.

But his involvement doesn't mean the project itself is a scam.  I think they obviously used bad judgement if they hired him to do something for the project--it isn't clear to me based on those posts what his involvement is--but I wouldn't call the project a scam just because jamalaezaz is part of it.  On the other hand, it wouldn't surprise me if it was.  Most of these projects in the ANN section are just garbage at best and outright scams at worst.

Look like website isn't working to me or I am missing something? However I found a archived link but there is no any team information. Question is how jamalaezaz involved with this project? He have just mentioned that he is from official team.

please list our coin BitcoinAir (XBA) to your exchange. I am from official team.
our Website is: https://bitcoinair.net

Thanks.
If I raised question that he is the one behind of this project then I don't think someone can prove me wrong since he is self admitted. Who know he is the one who is operating total project? It would be better if OP add more details why you are wondering this project is scam? Noticed from jamalaezaz tag he was involved with scam although I don't know much about him. So his past history is indicating there is risk of scam. And my personal opinion is jamalaezaz isn't only involved, he is the operator.

As far as I am aware, the project is not a scam. No money has been raised and there have not been any attempts at fundraising either.

Based on my knowledge, Jamal simply financed the project, he does not have any involvement in its operations or even in the conception of the project.

Edit: ANN thread was closed on the request of Lauda, again, I do not believe the project is a scam since nobody has lost money over it except Jamal himself.

Happy to provide conversion logs if needed.

I too think the same. He is much more involved with the project as you can see his LinkedIn profile where he states being an co-founder of BitcoinAir.

No money has been raised and there have not been any attempts at fundraising either.

I don't see how money is not involved here, yes they didn't had an ICO, but still people are buying there tokens on exchange.

BitcoinAir is already listed and trading on 3 exchanges:

I'm not going to defend either Bitcoin Air or Jamal, based on the conversations I had with the team when I launched the bounty there was no reason to suspect it would be a scam. I know for a fact that Jamal's co-founder status relates to the fact he pumped a lot of money into the project, but had practically zero involvement from then on. Similarly, the actual operations and management of the project was handled by Anthony.

A community coin struggling to gain momentum shouldn't be called a scam in my opinion, otherwise, practically everybody trying to make something is a scammer.

That depends on his position in the team and what he can do and what he can't. Also, whether other members are aware of his shady past or not.

An untrustworthy member with elevated privileges can betray his team at any time. Many genuine projects got ruined because of an inside job.
