Pre-sales are best times for investing big amounts but for amounts bigger than 20 BTC taking a p2p investing model will be safe. Investors need to think about the project's future and what it can bring to the problems.

Am not in support of investing in pre sales because have done some last year and it was not a good business to me.
chances are that you were unlucky in choosing an ICO project to invest in pre-sale so you have an opinion like that because I think investing in pre-sale will be very profitable and we can get bonuses or cash back with a note in choosing the project must be really careful and not only analyze 1-2 projects but observe again as many projects as possible

Investors are people who take the risks and they enter the token sales if calculated risks are worth to potential rewards. Reliable projects don't need to make a KYC for cutting the token abusers IMHO.

Hey guys. As the title suggests, i've a question to the presale Investors.
Do you invest in Presales? Yes I do but it depends on the project being probable What do you research first in order to invest? The thing with crypto is that it isn't fool proof but I check for established sponsors/partnerships, any working products, a good track record of the developing team and many other checks....as projects differ from project to project What makes the project interesting and worth investing?
usually it's the potential monetary gain but I like to think am supporting the technology ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I ask all the investors, what makes a coin Perfect!?!
A working platform?
Active devs?
or do you guys see something else too? Depending on the project these could be good indicators but finding the perfect coin win never happen because they all have flaws but the best option will always exist Please let me know, i'm really keen to know such stuff before becoming an investor myself. Thanks. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Hope my answers were helpful and you are welcome!

I most of all pay attention to project developers. Looking for their profiles in social networks and studying whether they have already implemented projects. This speaks of their experience, and if they have already had successful projects, then it is worth investing in a new one.

What makes the project interesting and worth investing?
The one that I look in a project whenever I am investing is the team behind it, and the use case of the coin if there is a use for it. If it is unique, not in the current market, I will invest in it. But if it is just an improvement of another project, I will not.

I believe that investors who invest during presales usually do that due to the bonuses provided during presales. Some even do just a little research or don't not do any research before investing which is usually influenced by the discounts provided by the crypto project during the presale. In the crypto ecosystem, investing into project during presales usually due to the packages provided by the project doing the presale of their tokens.....

As an investor I'm not looking for the positive feedback because that is easy to manipulate, I am looking for the negative side on it such as scam accusation or those having a fake team. I personally do my own research to avoid possible problem near in the future. However, even how dip digging research you made if the projects are wanted from the start to exit scam we have nothing to do is just to knuckle our head.

as investors, they must be brave enough to face any risk and they must be able to handle it. not all projects are reliable so we have to be careful when doing things, because anything if we are negligent can cause bad things to happen, so we have to be more vigilant. yes, so if the project is reliable and good, there is no need to make KYC, even though many also make it.

If the devs are very active and well versed about what they do, it is interesting on how they will answer your question and thoughts that circulates to your mind. As an investor I'm not looking for the positive feedback because that is easy to manipulate, I am looking for the negative side on it such as scam accusation or those having a fake team. Good strategy, positive feedback can be faked and reviews today can be paid. If you are an investor and you look for good reviews, you might end up with those paid reviews that's giving the best and encouraging feedbacks about that project.

Investing during presale offer at some point encourage more investors because of the higher discount at that level when compared to during the ICO proper. One of the things that encourage invest including myself is the main reason behind the project and the future of the said coins.

Yes, I usually invest in presale, but now I better buy it when the token enters the market, the first thing we have to do when choosing a project, then we see what products they offer, whether the product is in accordance with the proposal they give, then we must see the developer and the team managing the project whether there are several teams that can make us doubt so we need to ignore the project if it is clearly not a good enough project.

When investing I am looking for the use case of the project, checking the team experience, advisers. Looking at the WP and roadmap and following the activities of the team on social media.

When the first time you want to invest look for the project whitepaper, look on the roadmap and what is the aim of the coin, find about the developers team and what is their experience and for me there is no perfect coin, each coin got their advantage and disadvantage based on different situation

When I want to start investing in a project, of course, I have to know about the ins and outs of the project, whether the team involved people who are professional in their field, the purpose of the project will be to provide future benefits, of course this is important and not until we make a wrong step in starting an investment

For me, the interest in investing lies primarily in the possible growth of the coin. The rise in the price of a coin, in turn, depends on the project itself and on the exchanges where they plan to place their coin.
Suppose a team wants to list their coin on some big exchange like Topia or Hitbtc and such, but they didn't made enough btc in the presale, what then? Will you invest and help them out?

Hmm.. Say the projects usecase idea is really good like really really good, but the developer team is newbie and don't have much experience, its their first project with little no experience, but they're completely honest about everything and trustable -- would you still invest? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

The percentage in failing is higher than having a successful investment in a project. Successful means having a hard cap and it continues doing the roadmap as it was written.
Most of them reaches softcap and that is not enough for the project to go on even if they will try. Mostly it will go thru bankruptcy. Better just invest with known coins if you are not a risk taker. Go for bitcoin or ethereum. I bet anyone here would agree.
But if you are really in for risk then go thru their management. See to it that they are really making efforts to market their project. Features too. What is the coin for? If it is just for another platform that is already a copy of an old project, I mean there is something which is the same as it, then say goodbye to it.

They got nice presale deals and all coins they chose were very profitable, at least for a while. I remember some coins were up to 7x in a few weeks.
