A good ICO to invest has all these, before they do their ICO and market their product, they made sure that everything has been worked out, their coming platform, their support team, their whitepaper the team behind them are unquestionable and they can answer anything that is relevant to their project.

hi, i am not a typical investor who invest too much in ico, but i invested ones, the thing i always see to it is how useful the project is in the long run, but i feel sorry because i see that therr is a potential to the project it has lack of community support and until now it is dump, so i lose some of my investments.

Before investing in any project you should take care of some key points:
- experience of the team in similar projects
- Whitepaper
- social media activity
- references on other websites/forums

Before investing in any project you should take care of some key points:
- experience of the team in similar projects
- Whitepaper
- social media activity
- references on other websites/forums

That is what we must do before investing but unfortunately, many of us don't listen to that and make a wrong decision. Many of them directly send some amount of bitcoin or ethereum to the project so they are not late to join as the investor. But after the project running for a few weeks, they found out that the project is not good enough to give them the profit.

Investors tend to easily to be cheated by news, and they mostly not follow the classic statement of Warren Buffet, "Buy the rumors, sell the news". In fact, most of investors do their trading orders or investment decisions in opposite ways, buying the news, and selling the rumours, that mostly cause losses later.

I agree at this point, on the transparencey of project. Projects that transparently present information about their team, their plans, their plan to use premined coins (for ex), are always better than projects that wanted to hide them as much as possible.

In my opinion, I only invest in one currency when I see the information about that project clearly.

For presale coins, or tokens, I don't have much interests with them all. I usually find chances to invest in old projects because at least I can trust them, and know that they won't abandon projects that they have developed for years.

Depends on the ICO structure actually. Presale has its advantage since the price here is quite cheap compared to main sale stage. But one thing is for sure, most of this have vesting period and this is the worst part. Since you cannot sell all of youre holdings when the right time comes. Lucky if the price wont dump any time. But with the bear market probably can.

Team and working product is important as well. Might suggest to invest on projects that has a legit and working platform if not, then the investment could be nothing. Pay for services not tokens!

Well, investing only in one coin is also not entirely clever. If it is not a bitcoin. but you significantly reduce the opportunity to earn a lot of money

Surely it is not. Either there are HIGH profits -- or HEAVY losses.. but presales are the best time to invest, aren't they? We just need to examine the project carefully, thats what this thread actually is for.

A good ICO to invest has all these, before they do their ICO and market their product, they made sure that everything has been worked out, their coming platform, their support team, their whitepaper the team behind them are unquestionable and they can answer anything that is relevant to their project.

It is better to be out of the market and not to join the ico , now it is very difficult in the market with investments in this sector , a lot of scams now and it is better to save money

I Love to invest in pre-sale more than investing in public sale,  because you have more chances of making profit when you invest in pre-sale, I have invested in the public sale of over 3 icos presently and the turnout was nothing to write home about because I didn't even make the capital I used in investing on the project,  I have given up on ICO already and I don't think anything can ever change my mind about investing in ICO anymore.

It is greed and lack of research that is doing many of the investors practicing this, they don’t listen and after they scammed, they come here to broadcast the failure discouraging others interest from investing in ICO when they simply didn’t follow the rule.

Most of these ICO projects promises what they know they cannot fulfill, when I see an ICO too fool of big promised, I don’t try to join them because any project built on lies will definitely fail on lies.
We have to be very watchful before taking that decision to trust any project with the money we have worked hard for, I believe not many people do invest what they can afford to lose.

-Presale is where you can actually get a lot of bonus. This is where most whales invest.

-Read thru the whitepaper and see if what they are aiming is possible/probable, will they meet their timeline and goals, etc.

-when it is unique, innovative and aims for a solution.

-There's no such perfect coin. Each has different preferences.

-Of course.

-Devs keep investors interested in a project. That is why they should be active.
