If you had $10,000 right now, which coin would you buy and hold?

That amount is very decent as a capital for investment, if I have a chance to hold it, I will go with 50% for bitcoin 25% for ETH and BNB then  I will leave it there for future financial freedom, as you mentioned for long term this three coins will deliver a great profits looking from what the current market is dictating, chances to rise high are really possible.

The safest and most valuable coin, Bitcoin. The time when the market goes down is very risky when holding Altcoins. You can see that while the price of BTC has been divided four times since its ATH value, other altcoins are divided more than 10 times.

Depends on holding time. If years 5+, most probably it would be BTC (if split not allowed)
If shorter term, few months/weeks, I would chose OMG/NEO/WAN - great potential of x10/15 with those coins.
But 10k would be prefered to split, not to put all eggs in one basket.

I wouldn't go only for one coin, i wouls divide and go with the next %

30% BCH
30% ETH
30% XMR
10% LTC

That would be my bet for a long term investment, i think after 5 years this should bring some nice profit, at least the investor should have more than $100k starting with a $10k investment.

If I had extra money, I probably would have bought a little known coins for $ 10,000. Since it is these coins can give a lot of X's. It is certainly risky, but this game is worth it.

I can tell you honestly that there are many promising coins on the market that are worthy of investment and I also have my favorites, but I would recommend investing this amount in IEO, because on it you can increase your capital at times in a short time.

Choosing a single currency is not a good idea in any kind of situation because we had no chances of getting the profit with a single investment and there is no insurance for the development also so you'll need to pick some extra investment for your future then only it will be useful.

Diversify the money ,don't put your eggs in a single basket ,go for bitcoin ,altcoin ,ripple ,EOS ,neo ,xem bitcoincash ,and grab other new projects as well because no one knows tomorrow ,you can add binance token aswell

if it's me with $10k, I'll buy some altcoins. First, I will buy ethereum 30%. Second, I will buy Litecoin 20%. thirdly I will buy BNB tokens 40%. the rest I will buy coins sold in the IEO. I see IEO has the opportunity to get profit too.

Ethereum cause if you check past prices you will see that it reached 0.16 btc and right now is at 0.032, so it can go at least 5 times higher than what it is right now.

Firstly I don't buy a single coin. I separate my investment in parts. With 30-40%, I would go with BTC. Cause btc is the king of the market at btc always stick with the whole market and the long anyone hold it the more valuable it will be. Next with 40% I would go for some high and mid cap coins like ethereum, XRP , Eos, NEO, TRON. In this section I would chose mainly the platform based tokens. Cause in upcoming time this platform gonna show a very good growth. May some of them fail but one or two of them will contron a very big portion. And with 10-15% I would go for risky low cap coins. Cause in mean time they can give higher amount of profit or nothing. And the rest I will hold in some stable coins.
