What do you guys think about the WAVES' future? Does it really stand a chance against ETH and everyone fighting in this space?

To me waves is a project that at least has something real to give to the community so it is better than 99% of the projects out there but the 1% waves is competing against are no joke, the waves developers are competing against other decentralized exchanges and they also want to get some of the market share for ethereum, so for the time being I am bearish on waves but once the bull market comes waves is one of those coins I will keep track since I expect spectacular profits.

The accepted number of standard tradeable cryptocurrencies out there are around 1700 .. 99% of that is 1683 .. so you mean to say that Waves is the top 17 of all crypto's out there? Possibly better than them?? I don't think so.

Everyone would missed out these kind of opportunity yet we dont really expect for the price to crash low like that on a short span of time but there would be
those people who do able to buy out into those dump prices and they are lucky enough to see those golden opportunities to make some profits in a short span of time too.

Talking about WAVES potential,it might not able to surpass out top alts like ETH or others but i would say this is a potential one and much better compared on most shitcoins nowadays.

The stump is clear, it was a failure on the Binance exchange. The hardware made a mistake and showed such a sharp drop. And given the short duration of this misunderstanding, it is unlikely that anybody of the traders managed to take advantage of the Binance mistake and place a buy order at the very bottom.

Nah that low price will not happened again. The price of Waves is bigger than that price right now, it means Waves is success right now. Not big success but at least the price can increase high.

If Waves develop more their blockchain and exchange, maybe they can compete with other big exchange/project and makes the price increase.

What I read about the Waves incidence is that someone decided to bring the price down and profit from it, this is what happens when you see coins and tokens will weak buy wall. I do agree with you that  in coming years many of these project will worth almost nothing and expect their price to dip close to Zero

It is not a dump really. Price picked up instanly.

It can be a whale dump in a shallow market, fat finger or some kind of a glitch. Nothing more.

Waves is always moving slowly, this is what makes me impatient to hold Waves too long, even though it is available in various big exchanges including Binance but I am sure Waves is difficult to skyrocket.

I don’t see anything bad in its price movement, the ones that have jump high or skyrocket in price, where are they now, they get pumped and then dumped, which makes them become shitcoins.

Coins like waves will be more reliable to hold for long and use for payment than other volatile coins, when the volatility of a coin becomes too high, people strictly uses it for investment purpose and not for payment, because they fear that at the time they accept it as means of payment for product and services, it could drop far in value and go below the worth of the item. So a stable and steady coin like Waves will be more useful in this case.

Definitely not on investing it for short term profit! I have invested around BNB for 300 USD 2 months back but now it crossed 400 USD and more so it is completely based on the luck and how the marketplace value fluctuate for this coin.
As I know there is a chance to see binance at a good price soon.

few day ago when i see Waves price down to 10 satoshi i'm very shocked, why and what the reason and who are make the price down so very deep, i don't believe, i wish i put order on 100 satoshi at that time

Bitcoin is driven by some really vehement bullish spirit right now but when u look at the altcoins - some show the worst performance ever recorded since the beginning of 2018. Namely WAVES, XMR, ETC, IOTA. WAVES just got smashed down to 0.0000001 btc on Binance exchange. This behavior is in strong resonance with what I expected to see in this space this year. Projects like Waves and Neo haven't been particularly impressive. Over the time, they have proven redundant and look likely to be forgotten at the pace technology is moving. Some projects are already migrating to xlm blockchain

That was a damn intense dip for sure. This is one of the ways pretty much everyone, even a miniscule trader can make bank and became a whale. Btw, this kind of a thing has happened before on Binance (and obviously on other exchanges aswell). And it will most likely keep on happening

There was a thread in the speculation or trading board about this one.

Other's say that it was a bot who may have put that order. However, we all know that there are still human behind it, so I guess there was a mistakes on his settings that's why he might have dump it. The thing is there are guys who are able to scope when the price of Waves is cheap so they are very lucky.

You made me greedy after seeing i went to binance for buying such a low price but i dint find any one selling for that price neither its tradign in the price you quoted . I am disappointed .

Same here, I don't know why people without making their research well, come to this forum to give information that is not proper, when I saw that the price of waves have been dumped on binance, I rushed there quickly to see if I can pick up some coin from there and go sell on another exchange that has the appropriate pricing of waves but I never saw the price of waves at the amount you stated and I don't think we are going to see it there, so please let's try to do our research well in order not to pass false information around.

Like Jating above you says, maybe this a bot trading mistakes and make the price down very deep, but i don't know why the prices of waves are down so deep, people are place order on below 100 satoshi of a lucky people
