I think gambling is entertaining only for those lucky ones who can gamble away some amount of money without it having a negative impact on their lives whatsoever. Not that many people have that luxury or the self control to quit when it stops being fun. People are associating entertainment with the dream of winning big but when that doesn't happen the guilt trip starts.

I agree with this statement. Those people that are rich doesn't really care on how much they bet. That's why whales in crypto trading are called the high rollers in gambling if they are engaged on it.

The people who use gambling for their income source or as business they are completely foolish. I am not saying that we cannot earn some money from gambling but your aim should not be making money from it. It's like you accidentally won money while you play games. Gambling is nothing but entertainment as long as you are in attained we are going to be fun but when you lose the fun and start being serious and start taking the high risk you are gone. This is what happens to addicted gamblers, but mostly gamblers are not addicted. They forget almost immediately about the lottery tickets they bought until the next round, and then they check whether they won, and if they didn't they forget about the whole thing and move on. They play 30-40 minutes losing what they can afford to lose, for some people it's $0.5 and for others it's $50, and then they start doing other things not even thinking of chasing their losses. In my own opinion, it depends to a person if gambling is an entertainment because when it come to rich people they only gamble for entertainment that they don't care on how much they have spent, and there are gamblers who consider gambling to earn easy money or use it as an income.
