That's huge money, I'm surprised that people still trust Cryptopia after the two hacking, anyway there's no way you can retrieve your coins, but it is still up to them if they want to retrieve which I doubt they will just leave Cryptopia ad hopefully all those reading this post will do the same.

It's your fault but it doesn't something which can't be done. Try to contact again with them. Try contacting their representor in bitcointalk. I hope it will work. If they don't give it back to you, it will be their shaddy behavior. I hope you get back your coins.

I think nothing you can do about it mate, I mean they clearly state that don't deposit any coin in any amount to their wallet. They not even completely cover the lost coin when it is clearly their fault, you think they'll bother to send back coin you accidentally send. And why at the first place you "accidentally" send your coin there? Anyway sorry for your lost mate, and its a big amount of money in my opinion. So next time you want to move your coin/token to any other wallet beside yours you better double check the address.
Right, they have clearly said not to deposit any tokens in their exchanger. I have few tokens there but everything is zero. You have rightly said, he sent accidentally in cryptopia. Support may help him if they have anything to do but i think they will not support him.

It's partially your fault for not looking into the announcements with it. You know that Cryptopia was hacked recently and they are still recovering their losses and computing the amount they are going to give back. I know that they started operations again but I didn't know that you cannot deposit. Maybe this could have been prevented if there was a pop-up or a warning sign that you shouldn't deposit in their exchange.

How did you even get the deposit address from the exchange? You need to login first and then check the address but did you directly deposited to an old address you had without even trying to login? You should know that exchanges keep changing their deposit address everytime and I feel so sorry for your loss. Please be careful next time.

Well as with any other mistakes when it comes to deposits and withdrawals to the wrong address, i guess you just have to charge this to experience and learn from it. When an exchange says no, there's almost no chance of you retrieving anything.

I believe every exchange is very strict to their rules that's why you can't actually do nothing about it anymore. If they allow you to recover your coin, more and more cases like yours will open and it will be a burden for them. Yes, I think it is a burden now because they have sent a notice that no deposit shall be made and you still made one, even if it is by accident.

If they are still control the old wallet, i think they have the obligation to help me return coins to me because I have lost some of my coins in cryptopia fully because of their neglect of duty help me to return coins back is not difficult thing. They're under no obligation to refund you those coins. But it looks like they are still controlling the old wallets, and it would be very unethical on their part if that is the case. But I am afraid that you are left with few options.

Cryptopia are online again and this can be the reason why investors are still trusting this exchange since the hacking incidents, they believe cryptopia are so serious with their business. This is an expensive mistake, and its hard to take back that money. Its literally your fault and you have to be ready and accept this mistake.

I'm really sorry about what happened zjt but as stated, they have emailed most of their users and gave a certain instruction that if someone deposited after their said cutoff, no refunds will do.

Is Cryptopia active again? How did you find the deposit address of cryptopia if they were not active yet.
Nothing can be done now other than waiting for cryptopi to come online and request support team for refund your money.

I sent whitcoins to cryto from another exchange, and in that exchange i saved Cryto addr as a lable So i sent whitecoins by mistake I wonder why you mistakenly copy that address? Do you trade regularly on cryptopia? So perhaps you are aware that it was hacked recently and funds are not yet fully return to its user so the chances of your coins of getting back is low.
Anyway, how much the value of your coin? I mean if it isn't that valuable just let it go anyway and don't stress yourself out.

I think their response shows lack of professionalism and with this kind of customer services they will definitely loose a lot of customers.. Provided the wallet it got sent to wasn't and isn't compromised I don't see any big deal in helping with solutions.. Lack of flexibility and apathy in rendering customer service will definitely drive cryptopia out of market if they don't change..

In Apri 15,2019 I deposit 37001 whitecoins (about 3000 usdt ) to cryptopia (cryptopia.co.nz) exchange this week by mistake Transaction is http://explorer2.whitecoin.info/tx/4fbfadee8b3ad9848da419dd91a1ee5326d74101b5bc118cdc0e33babf769503Deposit address is WiicrP4bED9Exb2W3vJGACQ8RAA5z4vyvX ( this address is right) After depositing I found cryptopia have stopped deposit, so I asked their supporter to get them back But they say they have sent mail to all of their customers not to deposit any coins to their exchange, so they will never help me to get my coins back though they is still in their wallet I know I do a bad thing and I am very sorry to disturb them. And I know they are in big trouble for hack I just want to get my coins back and I can wait one year for that. I lost some of my assets in crptopia for their fault I donot lost again for my fault So could someone tell me how to do? thanks very very much Below is the part of our communication supporter:Hi ljscdx, Thanks for contacting Cryptopia. If this was sent after our cutoff date of the 16th of January 2019, I would recommend reading the article we have on our Knowledgebase about this, here: https://support.cryptopia.co.nz/csm?id=kb_article&sys_id=58ce178fdb10bfc084ed147a3a9619a1. This goes into detail why we will not be recovering anything that was sent after the 16th of January, 2019 (NZT). In light of this we will not be recovering this deposit for you. We will not be entering a debate about this, we warned all customers not to send anything to any of your Cryptopia addresses, but you still chose to anyway. Kind regards, Cryptopia Support Team Me: This morning I deposit 37,000 whitecoin(XWC) to my deposit addr on 2019/04/15 my ID is ljscdx@163.comthe deposit tx is 4fbfadee8b3ad9848da419dd91a1ee5326d74101b5bc118cdc0e33babf769503 my deposit address is WiicrP4bED9Exb2W3vJGACQ8RAA5z4vyvX and it is confirmed by block chain I know your wallet maybe hacked, so please quickly put these coins to safe place And i will be very appreciated if you return these coins to me, my whitecoin addr is xxxx Thanks very much that's quite an expensive mistake that it has caused you but I also noticed that there are many other exchange where the token is traded. You should have investigated and done enough research

Oh, so you sent it from a previously saved whitecoin Cryptopia address then as if you had to login to Cryptopia, you wouldn't get their deposit address. You sent it to the hacker's address so that's it.

You have wasted your coins. yeah there might be mistake coming from.the exchanges but as a user.we must be resoponsible enough to read warnigs or.any written prior to proceed huge transactions. This very careless procedure you have made so I guess it will be a lesson learn for you OP.
For cryptopia team also since they know that there exchanges are not working yet then they should disable deposit addresss. Now, the exchanges credibility has lowered down and not a friendly user excerise.

If you are a citizen or resident of new zealand, you could possibly sue them. They claim that their warning is sufficient but you could argue that one mass generated email does not constitute efficient. If you are not a citizen or resident of New Zealand, you are out of luck. Since cryptopia is a nz company, you would have to get an international lawyer that would most likely cost you more than what you deposited. Actually, just suing them normally would probably cost you more than also.
It totally sucks, but there is probably nothing you can do. The best way to cope with your loss is to make a strategy to make back what you lost. Research some different strategies and get active in making up for your losses.

Regardless of when they announced what, I suggest you file a lawsuit against them for unprofessional conduct because this is clearly unprofessional. They won't recover your money, not because they can't but rather because they don't want to. That's pathetic. They should be sued first for the money then for covering legal cost. It's only a matter of how many people would want to go the distance to do this. I'm not even sure that after losing so much money if OP has enough mental capacity at this point to carry on with such a thing.
