Try https://localbitcoins.com/ yet there would be sellers locally for you to make p2p transactions but i advise you that you should atleast have some bodyguard to be with you yet you are transacting $500k face to face.

What is actually the need you want face to face and take care of the transport cost (which is extra expenses for you)when you can transact directly where you are?

Guy coming to this forum, looking to buy half a million dollars worth of BTC in cash? Face to face? Will pay for your travel and all that? Oh you're going to be so in for a world of hurt. Can't see many ways you could get out of this even alive. It's probably a lot easier buying from ATMs 100 times (5k Euro limit I'm thinking off for most ATMs, he could visit all these ATMs in a spree of a week and get it done). If you are genuine though OP, as others say, go to localbitcoins. SO many face-to-face deals waiting for you, these guys ONLY to physical trades.

Yeah, it's really strange whar kind of ideas people have. Whether this guy is serious or not he puts himself in ackward situation, probably also potentialy dangerous without even being aware of that. Sometimes I can't tell if people are just reckless or really don't have the clue how such business should be done.

What's to say you wouldn't cave the seller's skull in and steal their btc, then sell them into sex-slavery.

You should definitely check out localbitcoins.com if you're looking to make a transaction like that. There are sellers on there willing to do those types of transcations.

This is a legitimate deal and thank you to everyone who responded.  I have encouraged the buyer to wire funds or place funds in escrow, but he has his own idea of how this should work.  I agree it may not be safe for either, but he has several deals that he lost a great deal of money and is trying to circumvent that from happening again.
