You can get 36% more value of Amazon gift card when you sell bitcoin in Paxful.com.  Is it too good to be true?  Is it a scam?

It's a normal practice in the industry, so I wouldn't call it a scam right away. $1 in Amazon Gift Card is not equal with $1 in BTC or USD. People value Bitcoin more than gift cards because you can use Bitcoin for practically anything, anywhere while you can only use the gift card at the issuer merchant. There are also people who get these gift cards from doing things like survey, affiliate, etc and they want to convert them to "real money" (i.e Bitcoin or USD) that's why you often see people selling gift card at a discounted rate.

If it's like 40% and above, then its too good to be true. The gift card will be either from a cracked Amazon account or bought using some black hat methods. And since the seller wants to get rid of it asap he will sell for extreme discounts to some dumb asses. Better to stay away from such deals as you don't want feds knocking up your door the next day or risk your Amazon account.

Like the above user mentioned Amazon codes have limited use cases and cannot be used to buy anything anywhere. Usual trend on Reddit or some exchange sites is you can get $100 Amazon card for 80% BTC. This is normal. But usually, its better you verify the source of the Gift cards before purchasing any.

All my trades need to be verified on the forum. Please send me a PM here first to confirm you are talking to me. Don't deal with anyone impersonating me on telegram.

P.S: I never ask trusted members to go first.

You are right.  If it is the suspicious Amazon gift code Amazon can shut down the account.  If the gift code from stolen credit card the police might knock your door when you receive the Amazon package.
