Most forums have a very high lurker rate but very few actually post.  Heard its over a 10:1 ratio

I'm testament to that ratio. Been lurking here since at least 2012/13. Have NO idea why I didn't sign up and have a chat with people. Seems like you guys are too! Hah.

On the top left under your username. Hit "show new replies to your posts" If you can find your way back here that is lol. I worked that one out quite quickly.

I also think that you can watch threads too but I've yet to figure that one out.

My tip and advice to you, participate in the discussions that you want to know or you already know. Don't just drop by into discussions and you'll appear out of nowhere with doesn't have anything to say related to the topic. Avoid discussing with off-topic comments so that everyone that's discussing about that topic won't be disturbed and the conversation will continue. What's the topic that comes to your mind and you want to know more and discuss with others?

yeah, bb code is an important thing to use if you actively follow bounties, especially bounty signatures,
and the bb code will definitely be the main requirement for following the bounty,
different from avatars that sometimes not all campaigns must use it.

Not much of a bounty hunter myself!
