I think it is fun gambling with your parents as long as you know the effects of gambling and you know how to be responsible and to limit your self.

It doesn't matter where you learn to gamble, either you learned it by yourself, thru your family or friends. What matters is, how will you handle your greed and addiction in gambling.

Yes its fun but not all the times especially if your family lose money in gambling and there's no left for them to buy you foods, and this happen to my family many times before. It's not easy to be raised by a poor gambler but of course its not an excuse for me to do better on my field. I'm still playing with a lot of control, that's the best gambling player for me.

it doesn't matter even though gambling has become more sophisticated with the development of technology, the essence of gambling has not changed, gambling is indeed always to have fun and gamble with partners or your family will be the most fun thing, whatever the game is.

I would prefer to gamble with my parents or some friends so you can look at each other.
The problem with some gamblers is when they loss control and they do it alone, they will loss more and no one can stop them.
With your parents, you will get some advise because they are more matured than you.

Gambling with friends and parents is not an experience you might like to have. I tried it and I bet you it wasn’t fun at all. In my place we honor our parents so dearly that even when they are wrong we can’t tell, so even when they cheat in the game you can’t talk about it.

You don’t need your friends and family to help you control yourself in playing games, you need to work on yourself and have discipline. So, what happens when friends and family are not available/ does it mean you will not gamble? I have tried gambling with both friends, family and total strangers and the best of them all is playing with unknown faces.

Usually, I gamble in my room without anyone knows, and if my parents get into my room, I will close the gambling site right away before they see me playing gambling

This has been the case with me as well. I was not allowed by my mother to play cards out of fear of addiction and I was unable to understand the concept of probability in my college because it required that knowledge. So I think parents should introduce kids to every thing that could possibly help them in future make money. Gambling is not bad unless you are addicted.

In my place, you can gamble on the wake which is normal and a form of sympathy. I was young that time and my dad was playing on the other table called "Mahjong", my Mom was playing "Bingo", and I'm playing card game (Tong-its) that time and it looks like my whole family are playing and aiming to win some money

When I grew up, gambling becomes our source of happiness but suddenly becomes our worst enemy because honestly my parents got separated because of gambling and until now they blame the addiction of my dad. I'm old enough now to realize that was a biggest mistake of my family, to let that addiction ruin our family. I promise to myself not to be like my dad, I will not expose my kids into gambling.

Will you do the same mistakes of my family or you will keep your kids or even yourself away from gambling?

 Good for you if your parents allow you to gamble and the best thing is that provide you money for it, so you should share your profit with them, my parents never interfere in my gambling but they also suggest me to be careful while gambling because they are more experienced than me so I share my ideas with them before I join any project or gamble for gambling.

That's what we are usually late for knowing, when they get a losing streak, then that's when we will think wiser not to make gambling a main income. But those who feel they want to try their luck in gambling for an expected outcome, maybe that can happen at any time. Some of the children who grow up will definitely have their own mindset and they will judge gambling itself from the good and bad sides, but when parents teach or introduce gambling to their children, then that is not true.

I think this is very common to almost all gamblers who have families because once they got addicted to gambling that's when they started to forsake their families. Maybe your dad didn't mean anything bad but to help in keeping the lifestyle that you have without realizing that he got to addicted too much and forgot the family. it's ok to play gambling with your parents for entertainment purposes only, but not to the point where anyone of you will become addicted to gambling, the head of the family should be the one to set up the boundary, where it will stop as an entertainment, gambling is still a vice and we should all watch if any members of our family get addicted here.

Besides introducing about gambling to their kids, maybe parents need to tell their kids that gambling can suck their money until it's run out. But I think it's not better to introduce gambling to the kids before they are growing up so they can think about the risk of playing gambling. I am sure that they can think about the positive and negative of gambling and they will choose to not playing gambling as often.

This is such a sad story to hear and I would like to tell you that everything happens for a reason. Gambling with your family is not bad at all it’s actually a nice thing to do or a great past time but the wrong thing is your reason. It should be because you guys want to just chill and have fun or maybe earn a little money but not to be greedy. Your father is doing something wrong and it affects your family if maybe someone is there to tell him or stop him on whatever he’s doing then maybe it can be saved and on your opinion on not letting your kids gamble it’s your decision but on my part I will if they wanted to but I will be there to guide and regulate them.

Well, games like mahjong or poker or any card games are addictive. The feeling of wanting to have more or the urge of winning is there. In my family, we only do betting games mostly on NBA play offs or in the NBA Finals. Predicting who will win in the next finals in NBA. It is just a family bonding thing and to even boost the excitement while watching it together.

That's kind of family bonding, so it's just for fun but if it's serious game, I don't think it's good. If you were the parents, would you like your kids to learn gambling, especially that you know how addictive gambling is and they would turn them like you are. Gambling with family depends if it was just for fun, past time, etc, then I guess, it's not that bad.

It wont really be that bad if all things related to gambling would be remotely controlled but we do still know the risk of potential addiction.So,if you are a
sensible type of parent then you would most likely think up on this way where you would definitely avoid your children to engage with gambling even on simpliest
means since the possibility of problems ahead would really be there.

Do you know the meaning of respect?what stupidity that you are saying here?if you truly respect your parents you must not secretly gamble since you already that they don’t like that and they are prohibiting you from doing such,
So better think of respecting them by following their warnings or just keep your bad doing and turn them back

We know some of our parents aren't in gambling before or maybe hated gambling, so if we know already how they treated any gambling activities, it is good to be not with them when we gamble. This is the reason why I never play with them, better preferred to play against my friends or office mates.
