Hi all,

Are there any applets that I can add to some of my high volume websites that will mine while the visitor is on my web page?

Is there any way (with the user's permission) to utilise the GPU instead of the CPU? Like with a traditional miner application?

Thanks in advance

There is one in the post right below the one you just made, here; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=38144.0

And there are several others in existence you will find in a quick search through the forums.

    Cheers

If you're not excited by the idea of being an early adopter 'now', then you should come back in three or four years and either tell us "Told you it'd never work!" or join what should, by then, be a much more stable and easier-to-use system.

Thank you for your reply. It seems the first version posted requires a special browser or am misreading it?

I did a quick search but there were a lot of superfluous entries - I used the keywords "GPU miner" .. has anyone done any comparative tests on these? eg performance wise?

Cheers

OK I've now spent a few hours researching and it seems that all the mining applets that leverage one's GPU are WebCL based and only work on Firefox.

I'm after one that will work on all platforms. One that doesn't need anything enabled and will just work. A prompt asking for permission is the user's permission is fine though.

Someone has to have written one?

If not, is there someone that would like to write one for me? I would be only too happy to pay you something reasonable for this.
