Hey We all know how essential it is for the audience to follow the stars they love, not only that they usually have the power over a lot of population given how commercial companies die to hire them , well we have a good news * Serena Williams just revealed her list of the compani that she was investing in and one of them list was related to the cryptocurrency*
What we can infer from here is * even Superstars are actively involved in the cryptocurrencies and now they are opening up about it , this is going to influence the price positively for sure, what do you think ?

Not the first time though, we have heard so many sports personalities involving themselves in crypto. If I'm not mistaken, LTC logo was unveiled on UFC already so they are all aware crypto by now. It will be a matter of time, specially if we are in a bullish market again to see sports fans involving themselves or even using crypto to buy tickets so I do hope that it will have a positive impact to the ecosystem.

Sure we can saty tyat "superstars" can influence the markets to go upwards but we can also say that they can influence the prices to go downwards with their negative opinion. This has been done in the past and actually a lot of people who have influence takes advantage of the situation (and its not a good one) sone goes as far as accepting payments for a tweet to pump a certain altcoin, John McAfee lately revealed that he accepts 105,000$ per tweet to pump the prices. I wouldn't be surprised if other influencial people are doing the same thing.

The main question is who are the Superstars and how they are involved in the cryptocurrencies. If it is just another advertising strategy by using superstars to promote a project then it wont be effective as their main idea is just to get paid for advertisement. It will be effective if the Superstars are involved in the real action, not just becoming advertiser who do not even involved in using crypto for real.

Honestly, I am happy that they are connecting themselves to crypto in a some way or another. Read this news earlier today about her investment in Coinbase and felt good that more and more celebrities are understanding the importance of crypto(Personal or non-personal benefits) which could possibly help drive up adoption rates. https://www.cryptovibes.com/crypto-news/serena-williams-invests-in-coinbase-is-mass-adoption-arising-rapidly/

It could in some ways, it could even contribute to cryptocurrency awareness since most people follow their idols and what they promote. Brand exposure is a good marketing, that is why some crypto companies are even hiring personalities or celebrities for promotion. We can actually see more and more celebrities getting involved in cryptocurrency as time goes by.

This is something interesting that I had no idea about. 105,000$ per tweet? Seriously ? It's like one whole big Bitcoin cult planning to take over the cryptocurrency market by influencing the price according to their own investments. But at the same time since they are hoping for the price to go up thus it's a good thing " thus I don't mind as long as they don't do the same thing for it to go down

* Serena Williams just revealed her list of the compani that she was investing in and one of them list was related to the cryptocurrency* I heard a lot of these stories but the investments are still shy -----> Read more 28 Celebrities Who Own Bitcoin - Ranker. In other words, I do not think Superstars will invest millions of dollars in a new technology in order to gain when the price rises to $ 10,000. If Bitcoin ETF is approved, more institutional funds will be introduced and thus provide a system for those rich to increase the number of their portfolios.

One thing is for sure though, if Mcafffee promotes something like an ICO on twitter, its gets retweeted by hundreds to thousands. And the possibilities of collecting funds up to its hardcap is high. Floyd Mayweather promoted the ICO of STOX last 2017 and the project were funded. Not really a known project but it also moon last bull run. I'm pretty sure celebrities can help the adoption too.

The economy of Bitcoin has been falling for a long time and after the end of the process it has grown again. People are discussing it and making general assumptions that Bitcoin is in the process of growing steadily after a long decline. So people always give positive information about Bitcoin.

I can't help but wonder, when these celebrities are investing, is it actually them who are making the decision to invest in crypto-businesses? Or do they just pay someone to pick the investments for them? It's all well and good coming up with the soundbites that they're: passionate about the companies that promote basic necessities that keep society growing but did someone merely just pick something they assumed will be lucrative and then worry about making up the justifications for their choices as an afterthought?

These things are not influencing bitcoin or the crypto market anymore and in my opinion they shouldn't. Bitcoin and others are decentralized, they shouldn't depend on some famous guy investing in it or not, they shouldn't need to react to it either. Real positive news should be the only ones that create an impact, perhaps some better technology, faster transactions, etc. The only thing these ''news'' are doing is creating more volatility and speculation just like all the bitcoin ''bans'' around the world.

I also don't think that this will influence bitcoin and bring the price high or low, bitcoin will grow more if more people will come and invest on it. This news can only attract maybe more people to invest on bitcoin.

Do you think that these so called Stars just post and reveal that they have been investing in cryptocurrency on their on will or out of nowhere, of course not, these people know the influence that they have and how many people follow them and if they do it they do it for their own benefit, so it is either because they got paid by some company to do so or their manager told them to do so, so they can influence the price and make people invest in it and then they follow up by investing as well, no one in this world does anything unless there is a benefit in it for them.

Yes the lousiest of them all. But on a bright note, the rest of her companies are total crap also. At least if anyone will buy Bitcoin because of her instagram post, they will for sure not be disappointed since we are so close to bottom.

Celebrities do help to raise awareness about cryptos and the blockchain technology since they have tons of followers on social media, but I don't think they have that much influence on people as you think, therefore, it's very unlikely that they're able to move the masses resulting in price movements on cryptos, unless of course, one of them says " invest in X crypto now" which could result in a massive pump for that coin. Heard of that too but there really isn't a way to confirm that Mcaffee really get that much per tweet.
Here's a screenshot of one of John McAfee's websites where his team used to (they took it down) promote his services to shill shitcoins and ICOs on twitter: https://i.imgur.com/RNCGrjp.png

Wrong if we think that crypto will experience growth when someone is famous for investing in crypto. Something like this had happened a few years ago and had no impact because the growth of crypto or bitcoin was not dependent on someone's popularity and I even thought that this was just a promotion for crypto but for growth it needed other factors that could influence growth rather than popularity someone.

Well cryptocurrency investment is real and celebrities who believed that crypto is the next big thing they’re on the right track. I just hope that they can sort real investments to the fake ones, this is no doubt a clear adoption.

No, It doesnt directly have an impact to the price, but it could somehow help with further Bitcoin adaption and awareness worldwide. I have heard sports superstars or even celebrity before, that has been engaging into cryptocurrency related investment, but It didn't do something to change the price positively. I remember Luis Suarez's tweet inviting his followers to sign up in an Eth-based prediction market. And there are a bunch of international and local artist that has been uttering about cryptocurrency.

I believe there will be a time for Bitcoin to be beneficial for the wider community. Currently, Bitcoin is used only as a speculation tool, but later Bitcoin will change the way humans trade.
