Let me just correct one of your opinion about spiders. Spiders are not poisonous that could kill a human, their poision is just for their prey, to paralyze it, but only a human could be killed by a spider bite if he or she will have an allergic reaction to it that might lead to death.

I've been experienced betting on spider fight way back when I was just a teenager, it's kind a cool and exciting at the same time but I don't just bet on random spiders, I only bet on my spiders that I've catched on our night hunt, that way, I had the confident that I will win.

Spiders are not poisonous? Maybe in some other Asian countries but in other countries, they have more poisonous and venomous spiders living among them that could kill a person if not being treated immediately. Anyway, what country are you referring that has no poisonous spiders?

Didn't even heard about it before,but it is good to know that different type of betting and more important is the game didn't cause any harm to the spiders so it is completely agree to bet the win completely based on our luck and circumstances.

I don't think you will have time to research on on the species of those spiders when they are about to fight, you can't grab them and take a good look. What you can do is ask the handler how many wins the spider have already or you can observe the spider while on a fight and decide if you will place a bet on that spider on the next game.

This is what my countrymen are good at violating the rights of the animals but still there is no action from the government. I agree, and spider fight is not an animal fight. Spiders belong to the arachnid family, and or weaver spiders are not endangered, maybe tarantulas are, but not this one. And the one the picture is not an orb weaver spider, it's a Argiope and they don't bite each other when they are fighting, they are just weaving each other, so I guess after someone won, you could just simply remove the web and let the spider go.

We do have spider fights in our country too but it is for fun or a game we play during our elementary days. It's kinda normal in our place and kids will look for spiders(not poisonous) at night and then in the morning they will ask their classmates or friends to have spider fight but for adults not that much. Betting on spider fights is not a thing in our place, i'm not sure in any other places but so far I haven't encountered anyone whose betting on a spider fight.

Spider fight is famous among children here in our country. Adults also used to bet in every fight. However, that was years ago and I'm not sure if that rare fight is still existing since the generation these days are into the latest technology and children are all busy with the latest gadget features. I don't think other countries would prefer to bet on animal fights rather than sports betting.

This kind of betting a spider fight is in Asian country, because spider can live only during summer and theres a lot of kinds of spider that you can use for betting and the people love to bet especially on animals on my country. In Nat Geo and Discovery only I have noticed this small species are fighting and mating. Never knows that gambling site providing service for spider fight or any insect fight.
I have came across some images on google and this thread.
And I do not experience such kind of games.
