You can create multiple Yobit accounts trivially (I presume), however this does not mean Yobit does not know when you have two accounts. They can look at your IP address, and browser fingerprint (including cookies they leave in your browser) to detect if you have multiple accounts, and the identities of the multiple accounts.

You generally have to know what you are doing to truly appear to only have one account when you have two. Based on the quality of posts being made by several people within the yobit campaign, I am going to assume they don't have the required knowledge to do this.

Quite frankly, I'm not confident that Yobit's technical team is going to keep on top of it. There is a reason they have over 1400+ coins listed. They fail to delist shitcoins that are long dead with no chance of revival.   I just hope that they can install a decent campaign manager, quick, who can spoonfeed them exactly which accounts get the banhammer.

They are growing too fast 350 participant in one day... I received email from yobit yesterday that they are now accepting new participant so I think there are many alts woke up just today and join in yobit campaign.  They should prevent/remove alt accounts from joining/accepting to their campaign as I'm sure there are many alt accounts joined and coming soon and I believe that it may lead to spam very soon.

I currently have some shitcoins out there from 2016 and until now the coin still stuck on withdrawal maybe they don't have a plan to remove it so that other people may fall to buy it and scam.

Yobit team is too lazy they want to automate everything. Let's hope that they can hire a campaign manager or much better they reduce the daily post count to 3 or 5 daily might be enough.

@suchmoon I ask here too, maybe you lost my message on the other thread.

Can you also post the habit on weeks before of those accounts? It will speed up the process to find potential alts <3

Well.. If they can't even weed out people with negative trust.... I'm not either. (They're currently just getting paid.) I guess that shows how competent their development team/community manager really is.

As detecting whether or not someone has negative trust is a piece of cake to do manually, and probably even easier if you simply automically scrape each participant...?

Everyone who has used the internet before should be able to do a simple task like blacklisting people who currently have negative trust from participating. There's really no excuse to this laziness from yobit.

Wondering why OP missing Yobit campaign since you made 22 post within past 24 hours  Wink

LOL, yeah I missed my chance to make twenty bucks...

Well, if I ever decide to wear a paid sig it won't be Yobit for sure. It looks like a ponzi pretending to be an exchange and that's based on my experience with them from a couple of years ago... looks like they went in even deeper since then, IEO and other nonsense.

@suchmoon I ask here too, maybe you lost my message on the other thread.

Can you also post the habit on weeks before of those accounts? It will speed up the process to find potential alts <3

Unfortunately I have no easy way of doing that. I don't even know when exactly they started wearing a specific signature although in this case we can assume it's been within the last couple of days. I'll see what I can do but it doesn't look promising so far.

I haven't look at them deeply but I saw yesterday few accounts senior+ with no message in over 6 months start posting with this signature to cap or getting closer to the signature's cap post.

I think what I'll do is calculate average daily posts for 7 days prior to April 19, which I believe is when the campaign started. Dormant accounts would have zero or close to zero posts. I can't easily find how long they've been dormant but this should give you something to look into.

Personally, I can't wait for the avalanche of "yobit is teh scammz!!!!1!!!" threads when participants get (silently) removed by the "very conscientious Yobit campaign management" for spamming/shitposting/alt abusing etc and they don't get paid their 0.00012000 btc per post. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

In other news... @suchmoon, Does your list filter for forum rank? I think I spotted a couple of "member" accounts... And I thought the campaign was limited to ≥Sr. member? Huh

Are they wearing the signature? I don't filter by anything other than the signature.

This is enough, most of the accounts will be filtered out on this way.

I have updated the list. Check the description of the "PPD" columns in the OP. You can see that the vast majority of participants increased their posting significantly and there are many who didn't post at all prior to the campaign.

Today Yobit posted this (I'm not sure that's their official account):
Quick update: We have found many users abusing our campaign with multiple accounts.  Anyone signing up multiple accounts WILL BE PERMANENTLY BANNED from this signature campaign.  We haven't gotten around to removing accounts with negative trust yet but they will also be removed after our next update.

Thanks for everyone that has joined and keep in mind that short spam posts will not be tolerated in the future.  If we find you burst posting short one liners you will be removed from this campaign when we do our manual checks.  Aim for at least 3-4 lines and please fix any grammatical errors and always stay on topic.
I hope it's not just a words and they will start acting soon. Unlimited number of participants (over 350 in just few days), no merit requirements, everyone can join as long as he have at least Sr. Member account even with red trust and make up to 20 posts per day - it's terrible combination. Probably this campaign produce more spam than most of bounties in the end of 2017 - start of 2018.

Why are you interesting only supporters of YoBit signature campaign? You're acting like a child, there are a lot of fucking signature campaigns but you are only interesting with YoBit. YoBit is ten times more reliable than people like you. You call people a shitposter because their mother tongue isn't in English, no one doesn't have to speak perfect English. Many people who don't have enough incomes can earn BTC thanks to bounty campaigns. If you don't want to see post of signatures, tell Theymos, Cyrus or BadBear to ban signature campaigns. Stake.com's signature campaign has no limit to sending a message to the forum but you are only interesting with Yobit! Yes, you are hypocrite.

Erm, the evidence is yelling at you in the face at the top of this thread.

I'm sure you're a wonderful addition the forum but most of the posters are not. Almost every post I've seen with that signature is meaningless junk by long dead accounts with no merit. Any other established campaign would boot them immediately, not that they could've gotten in anyway.

Let's give it a week or so to settle down and see if they do anything but so far the campaign deserves all of the derision it's getting.

Why can't I be interested in a campaign that hires 400 users in a couple of days and resurrects dozens if not hundreds of shitposting accounts?

If you're not a shitposter you have nothing to worry about. This is a thread to help identify participants so that they could be investigated and reported to moderators when applicable. Blame Yobit for the disaster they're creating.

We are not living in European Unions, we can't practice regularly our english. When people try to express themselves with Google Translate or other tools, they are banning or tagging them from Bitcointalk. How can we write like other members? Just because people don't speak a fluent English doesn't mean that they shouldn't be posting their opinion in this forum. Bitcoin wouldn't be so well known all over the world if there were no bounty hunters.

I said nothing about English nor do you have some God-given right to post where you have nothing to contribute. Please leave this thread, I don't appreciate you scrounging here.

Based on the new PPD data, the listed 386 participants prior to the Yobit campaign used to create ~230 posts per day combined. They created ~3600 posts within the last 24 hours. That's a 15-fold increase, or 3000+ extra posts per day. I think it's safe to assume that most of those are shit.

That PPD data is frightening... Shocked Shocked Shocked

I honestly had not been expecting it to be so bad... Apparently I am waaaaaayyyyyy too optimistic regarding the outcome of offering "free money" to anyone with a keyboard. Undecided

I feel for the moderators... I have a feeling their workload is about to get ridiculous.

Bitcoin wouldn't be so well known all over the world if there were no bounty hunters.
I think Bitcoin would have been just fine... The endless stream of (scam) Shitcoins and ICOs may not have faired so well tho... Roll Eyes

That's the thing I was talking about yesterday. It is very obvious to happen without a manager.

I thought they were strictly against accepting negative trust participants for default trust. But there are many participants as we can see in the above list. Don't know if they would be paid or not ?

I counted 36 negative tagged users so far from the list, yet another almost half of the list is coming to make it 700 Roll Eyes. These users are just trying to loot as much as they can but they do not realize that at the end they will return empty hand. How they will realize? They can't even read rules... What they are doing in the hope to earn some money is total SPAM DISASTER!

It's not all about English... Yes, English is a factor but it is not 100%. If someone can write little English and if the readers can understand what that guy wanted to say then I think anyone is good to GO. 100% broken grammer should not work here, at least 50-70% must be okay imo. Once I found a post and read 10 times but didn't understand what that guy really saying.

Anyway, the other main factors for SPAM > SHITPOSTING, POST-BURSTING, MEANINGLESS POSTS, POSTING IN DEAD THREADS (maybe I missed more)

Check the post history of these guys dimondimon, mtmitat
Most of the spam posts of these two users already got deleted by mods, if not, I would have shown you a post of mtmitat.

The post was something like this, not accurate, but it's almost the same meaning.

Just to make it clear... I don't know if it's going to be 700 or 7000. There doesn't seem to be any limit yet. 396 currently and I'm at least a few hours behind.

Many exchanges take payments to list certain coins, and while I don't know the specifics of these types of agreements, it is possible one clause in the agreements state that yobit will continue listing the coin for x time, or "forever".

Exchanges have a vested interest in tracking the type of information necessary to determine if two accounts belong to the same person so they can do things like prevent suspicious withdrawals and block hacking attempts.

Yahoo62278 claims to have been contacted by yobit to manage their campaign, however I somewhat suspect most exchanges have more staff than necessary for ongoing operations. This is based on the declining trading volumes on major exchanges, and the ~95%+ decline in trading volumes from the ATH (measured in USD). I would suspect that yobit has someone on their staff with sufficient time and skills to manage their campaign.

Do you know that everyone is getting paid? From what I can tell payments are being made to participants yobit accounts off the blockchain.

The negative trust rule appears to have been implemented after the campaign started. I suspect most of the data is being retrieved via automation so that management can more easily audit payments and track the efficiency of the campaign. They might not be pulling the data from an account that is logged in. Also they will need to write code (and audit code) before they put it into production.

I can also promise you that anyone who trades above certain thresholds, is active/well known in their chatbox (if they have one), or otherwise has generated a lot of revenue for them (perhaps via referrals) is going to be allowed to participate, regardless of any negative trust.
