Totally missed that. Looks like it’s been partially peeled to me. If so, I’d have to withdraw my bid.

This coin indeed looks like peeled coin. Would need more pics from other angles.. Is this a peeled coin, OP?

(It looks like peeled but most likely is not.)

Indeed looks like it was peeled. The hologram is also not centered. @OP do you have proof that you bought it from mike, or any record that leads back to him?

Glare or reflection from the case may show the honeycomb pattern depending on the angle of the light.  Getting a few more pictures with a different source of light and where the hologram integrity is in better display should help resolve doubts.

its not peeled, just a close up. the coin is in the anacs case and has not been tampered with.

unfortunately the coin now lives in a safety deposit box so i am unable to get extra pics before the auction close.

i will throw this open to the bidders, if you want to continue or if i should extend until i can get some pics?

For me, personally, it would be enough if you could prove that you bought the coin from Mike yourself. As I would trust you not to tamper with it.

i didnt buy it from mike, i got a whole parcel of errors a few years ago from another forum member then sent them all to anacs, then kept the best grades.

i am thinking i will extend the auction by 3 days to allow me to get some more photos, this should hopefully confirm the coin has not been tampered with.
