You should include to your title [SURVEY] so we're aware that this is a survey for a study (Just a suggestion), however I'm happy to spend my time for a study like this...
But would you do the forum a favor for participating in your survey?

At the time you've finish your study can you send us a soft copy of your study so we're be able to benefit from it?

Sincerely,
Joeperry

Edit: Done, answering your survey form. Hoping my answers counts lol, Good luck to your research!

Done with the survey. Joeperry is right you should have put in the title "survey" so that many users can do your little survey to help you with your studies about the anonymity of bitcoin and its transaction.

Just finished answering the survey. Honestly, I am not a security expert though I do know the basics here and there which is why I answered to the best of my knowledge. A small portion of people would have actually successfully traced a Bitcoin TX through different methods based on my research.

Isn't the firm Ciphertrace that Binance just hired one that can trace bitcoin?

Yap Binance has just announced their partnership with Ciphertrace some time ago. This survey is basically about our opinion related such traceable transaction when we are dealing with bitcoin or crypto. I've just finished the survey, hope it will help OP for his study.

I'd even say small amount of people would even try to do that. I use Bitcoin from time to time. Sometimes I browse transactions to see how they are doing or to see amounts of money in the wallets, but I've never needed to trace a transaction, I just did the browsing out of curiosity. IMO the fact that there are no named attached to wallet addresses is enough for privacy.

Done answering the survey. I agree that having no name besides the wallet is a plus. But there are ways you can simply follow a persons fund. This is where mixers come in. If they are creating a bitcoin transaction software how are they going to deal with mixers  Huh

Fulfilled. Maybe asking where the surveyed user is from could be interesting to note. I know we're everywhere but a heatmap or something similar would be cool
