You can always start your own wiki if you don't have permission to add to the Bitcoin Wiki.  I don't have an issue adding a casino list to it since they have no problem listing bitcoin exchanges.

Guess you are looking for a well-known website for this? You could create a separate wiki website for gambling and games then. Why not?. It could become just as popular as Wikipedia in the future.  Gaming and gambling are quite popular on the Internet these days.

There's a few overview thread for bitcoin casinos and this but it's not updated.  OP might have a different list of his own or wants to include tons of casino in his list. Even though we can find a lot of lists from searching, creating a new one could still be helpful just like the existing threads from this board and it depends on what things or details he'll list.

And who is going to browse your wiki for the required information? Anyone can set up his own wiki with minimal effort and cost, and then add content to it. But attracting traffic is the most difficult point. Wikipedia is an already established site and it has tens of millions of visitors every day. That's why I say that setting up a thread here would be a better idea. This forum is also quite well established, and if we create a thread here then it can help a lot of the gamblers.

Anyone can edit wikipedia as they like so this list would not be as helpful as we all wish.In the Gambling board there is a single thread allowed for a crypto gambling casino.On the thread you can read user experiences and check the feedback for each casino.It will be easy to choose where to play based on the stats you read.

Being an active user of Wikipedia, I would say that it is not possible to create such an article there. Such a list will be immediately flagged as "promotion" or "advertising" and after reviewing by the admins it will be deleted. Hence I would say that there is no use in spending our precious time in creating such an article or even a sub-section of an existing article.

I think it should not be like that. We should have information about the best casinos that accept Bitcoin around the world. This should be on Wikipedia because so many people use Wikipedia and they should know about such things. Google also helps you find such casinos. One could also compile the list of famous Bitcoin casinos and upload it their websites which might help others. If you do that for the leading crypto casinos, it would not be counted as advertisements or promotion as they already got users.

I disagree, if you really wanted to see which casino's really accepts bitcoin then this community is the answer. Besides, wikipedia has a very strict rule as far as what you can post in their page and as soon as they realize that you are promoting something against their TOS, sooner or later it will be flagged down and taken offline.

I think Wikipedia is not a good place where to promote gambling, because they are very strict on it. I don't know if that website is the best for gambling-related stuff, so far I didn't see everyone on some page that relate gambling. Maybe they think that it contains bad to practice especially in minor age. We have here a community in the forum that we can directly ask, and of course we are different than Wikipedia website.

And who is going to browse your wiki for the required information? Anyone can set up his own wiki with minimal effort and cost, and then add content to it. But attracting traffic is the most difficult point. Wikipedia is an already established site and it has tens of millions of visitors every day. That's why I say that setting up a thread here would be a better idea. This forum is also quite well established, and if we create a thread here then it can help a lot of the gamblers.

We know the reputation of Wikipedia but it is against on their terms for sure on making gambling site/casino list that accepts cryptocurrency.
So it is basically pointless on making up one and in fact people can still find up gambling sites with having some minimal effort on searching up
on the net.It do really need some small effort.

Why not just create a thread here and update everytime instead of Wikipedia and let the community contribute? I don't think it will be restricted by admin/mods. Just dedicate some time to update. It would be nice if someone search on the internet and the first page to appear is the thread on bitcointalk.

After he made the wiki page after he shared here means people may merit him with high numbers now it is consider as suggestion nothing else. There are old threads talks such casino sites and etc. May be he needs, he may check with that op and use it with his permission.

wikipedia is not a place to advertise businesses, and i have never seen a list of any other businesses there either so i don't know why you think such list for "bitcoin casinos" should exist! there already are many other websites that list them with feedback, ranking,... which i think is more than enough.

There's plenty of "categories" on Wikipedia. For example, "Companies based in [Insert State Here]". TBH, not sure how it's any different.

@OP, the problem is that Wikipedia tends to use Category pages for purposes like these, and generally AFAIK Category pages primarily include businesses/operations which already exist & have a page on Wikipedia.

I'm assuming many of the casinos probably don't have a Wikipedia page already, and a large majority of them probably wouldn't be eligible for one (I highly doubt the page will stay up long for a small casino, for example).

Maybe wikipedia is not an appropriate place to store all data regarding crpyto gambling website. Maybe what we need is a wikipedia like crypto website that will list all the gambing website. I don't have any problem with having that kind of website to get information. I just go to section gambling here and from there i can find different list of gambling websites.

The problem with adding these sort of articles to Wikipedia is that since it is editable by anyone, scammers may delete the names of reputed gambling sites and then add the links to scam sites. And in the end, all this will have the opposite effect. People will lose their hard earned money after visiting these scam sites and the reputation of Wikipedia, cryptocurrency and online gambling as a whole will get tarnished. So I would strongly suggest using Google, rather than Wikipedia for this purpose.

Actually i agree with you and i will try to share about the website of casino who accept the bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, but first time you must the link source of Wikipedia on here and the community of cryptocurrencies can makes contribution about the gambling website while accept the bitcoin on there.
