HI
I just experienced a problem today. I was trying to send some bitcoins to my Bitpay account. I received an error message.
"Replace by fee" enabled we see that you are using the electrum wallet. To avoid delays please ensure replace by fee (RBF) is not
enable in yoursettings.  I unchecked the RBF tab. Then I tried to transfer funds again. I received again an error message stating
"Certificate has expired (bitpay.com). What does that mean, and  What do I do now??? When I unchecked RBF box in my settings,
now under fees nothing is checked. Should something be checked?

There is a box inside the fee area inside of preferences entitled  ETA    Should that be changed? There are Static, ETA , and Menpool. Should
any of that be changed???   Please help. I hope to hear from anyone that can assist me, very soon!!!!!

Please explain how to get past this problem.
Respectfully submitted,

Same here I found the reason and email/tweeted support:

@BitPay You have an unsecured link in the payment processing popup message about Electrum "replace by fee". The source reverse to an icon "http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" This makes payments impossible since the certificate is considered to be invalid by the Electrum wallet.

If the problem is about making the payment, try to use a decoder and copy/paste the address and amount manually instead: https://decoder.bip70.org/

This sound a bit confusing. Would you mind explaining this procedure, but in layman terms?

It's not a procedure, they made a coding mistake which they have to fix, I explained it more visual here:

If you still want to do the transaction you can use this decoder:

https://alexk111.github.io/DeBitpay/

I just used it and payment was accepted.
