There African community can be regarded as a developing one but truth be told so many of that community development growth is a creeping one.

  African governmental system
The world might have not fathom correctly how corrupt politicians in Africans are but permit me to let you know that if the asset of a governor from where am from is correctly calculated (including funds looted) they would have there positions on Forbes list.  The system is inhumanly corrupt and the adverse effects are felt by it citizens.
The educational system is nothing to be proud of and even after scaling that hurdle the search for employment is endless due to low availability of jobs.
The poverty rate keeps increasing, health care system is dilapidated.

How can you as a citizen survive
Being from this parts or region is not an excuse to be poor or having a bad government an excuse to be jobless.
Placing a complete dependency on a government that doesn't have you at heart is a big mistake.

Engage yourself as a human you are blessed with a healthy mind and brains and if put to judicious use could yield results. Greed is one factor that should be avoided this is one of the reasons young one from my region goes into fraud and gives the nation a bad name.

Start small.  It's could be in the agricultural sector. Fishery, poultry, livestock or farming(african has fertile soil)

Attend business functions and lectures. Many undervalue this but I learnt about cryptocurrency through a function and as the say information is power make good use of those information and you cab set yourself up. Rather than fraudulent trying to extort funds from foreigner try to build a mutual relationship where you can gain knowledge and idea.

Be studious. We learn everyday keep researching finding out what's needed in your locality that is of low supply put your mind into use it could be something of low capital to start up but can yield good returns.

Although bad government system can affect anyone but when you don't over depend on them or blame people for your failure only then can you take responsibility and lead a good life for yourself and your society

The citizens should develop themselves and build Africa as They have no any places except their countries.  I do believe that the leaders are so corrupt that some of them are richer than their country and that is the reason why i am saying that you should not put your destiny in their hands.  You can survive without them if you decided to develop yourselve and your skills.

I'm not an African citizen but I know how rich Africa is.
The only reason why there's a lot of African that is starving daily is because of that the higher people and the government are taking advantage of them. Considering them as people that are used to generate more income. That they don't deserve to move up with their lives.
These politicians are so much inhuman indeed that if I could afford to kill them, I would.

Education is a tool for success and in most cases lack of education is responsible for lack of development.

Lack of education causes you to choose corrupt politicians, not recognizing your rights , blaming yourself or somebody else and  depression.

Few things are not in individual hands but we can try what we can do.

Land, not really fertile but you can fit Europe several times in sub-Saharan Africa so if it all get irrigated and fertilized, then it would be good.

Self-initiative can only go so far though. Why bother improving if the government can just simply take it away from you. Look at what happened to Zimbabwe. Outright drove people who know how to operate farms. And don't tell me it's all about "righting" a wrong, if the government was smart enough, they could have just asked those farmers to slowly pay for the land and then later use that money to buy back some land to give to locals.

Point is, these "leaders" dgaf about the people. I mean, just look at this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nA_p4--ZFIo

Damn true. We have the same government but depending on your government for your future is a very stupid idea. Most people blame their government for their difficult situations in life. They blame the government why they are poor, why they are jobless and they can’t afford to buy this and that. As if their government is responsible for spoon feeding them. You are right folk, there are tons of ways on which an individual can enrich himself. Don’t like the government? Some are going out of the country to work, save money and build a business at home. The country has wide unoccupied land, cultivate the land and feed yourself from what grows. People are just too ambitious and greedy to desire an easy way for getting rich.

Education do contribute to the under development we have and we just need to keep advice people and Africa community to keep promoting education and enlightenment as the solutions for their underdeveloped.  African are great people but the leaders are their problems. I think the more educated they are the more good leaders they will be able to select.

It's true how fantastically corrupt the most African government can be. The average Nigerian youth now seen SCAMMING as a norm.. The results and consequences of corruption have a big impact on the thinking mentality of citizens.
