Bitcoin the king of the crypto market is now in the longest bear market in bitcoin history. Many people now believe that Bitcoin will never able to reach its all-time high ($20.000).
On the other hand, many traders and analysts predicate that Bitcoin will surpass the $100,000 milestone in the net bull run.
Please share your views what are the key factors of the next bull run and will fuel the price above $100,000.

I am a believer of Bitcoin and believes that in the next 5 years Bitcoin will be accepted by most of the big firms.

Personally I think it is impossible for bitcoin to reach 100k, having confidence is necessary but if you are too sure then you cannot see the reality.

Wow. How can someone look at the all time bitcoin price chart and use the word impossible regarding a 20x jump from today? You are extremely closed minded, and ignore the "impossible" jumps it has made before.
Imo if bitcoin continues it's adoption trends it's just a matter of time. Not only is it not impossible, it's probable. And why would bitcoin not continue it's adoption trend - what's going to save the fiat monetary system? nothing that I can see.

You are right, they don't know the value of bitcoin, bitcoin is a good coin and can be used to store money and for short time but for long and bitcoin will have a good value over time.

This is why alot of people even the Winkievoss twins (Gemini exchange owners) have stated that never look at the Bitcoin all time high price but instead look at the all time low price for the years, as long as its on up uptrend then its steady growth and good.

Will bitcoin reach $100,000? Maybe or maybe not. The questions is whether will bitcoin be able to sustain a value of $100,000. Because look at what happened when it hit $20K last year. How long did it stay at that price, maybe a few hours. Even staying above $17K or higher was unstatainable and it didn't even stay above $10K for a long time.

So there might be another crazy bull run and it might touch $100K but what good is it if it goes quickly crashing down back to $10K -$20K. People will get burnt buying the top and leave a sour taste for many new investors.

$100,000 is possible, but it is not going to be this year or next year either. These are all hypes and they are all being done to get people to invest in bitcoin. None of us really knows where it is heading. The last bull run, I don’t remember anyone predicting that will happen. The price just started going up, and when it started going up that’s when they started predicting that it will keep going up. I can remember that they even predicted that it is going to reach $100,000 in that same 2017, but that never happened. And here we are again, talking about the same $100,000.

Man like seriously, everyone is talking about the price going up and you’re here talking about it going down to $5,400. You do know that the price is up to $5,752.21 already and there have been analysis that it may get up to $5,900 which is the next resistance level before it gets FOMO’ed to $6000 and above. Well we all never know cause sometimes it is predictions like yours that usually happens,but I don’t wish for it to happen cause I really want the price to keep going up.

I'm sure the price of bitcoin can reach that high, but I can't be sure when it will happen. 5 years can be enough to make that high price if there is mass adoption and large-scale purchases, but 5 years will not reach that high price, if the development of bitcoin does not increase significantly..

You are right, without a very strong development, Bitcoin on that value might really take much time than the 5 years, because we have so many investors in the market that has different price target to sell off their investment, and has people sell off, there will be decrease in price and we have to wait for another factor to step up the price again.

 If this practice continues, that growth of bitcoin will be so slow that even when we have big time development, it will still not push the market towards that value in 5 years, but anyway, let us see the magic MacAfee that predicted 1 million will perform within that time.

We all know how potential this coin is, it will surely reach that high but we need bigger adoption to increase the demand and it will certainly take time.

I may say no!  Looking how it far from the reality and even $50k seems to hard to achieve.  Though I'm an optimistic person but really feel not be achievable, it is enough for me to have a price  below $20k cause it is not the price makes important but how it contributed to the community by its purpose.

We all know how potential this coin is, it will surely reach that high but we need bigger adoption to increase the demand and it will certainly take time.

This is what I will like everyone to also keep in mind that bitcoin has the potential of growing up to that value, but the time it will successful grab that value is what everyone cannot predict. That value needs very high fundamentals to make it happen, we need the marketcap to multiply by almost x16 of the current market value.

This is the reason why we have to continue to have patience in BTC and not see our investment now as something that will get us rich quickly, we need to continue watch the rice grow and continue to flow with the market too with our own usage and as time goes one, BTC will stabilize on the value and also will be sustained.

we are now in the year of 2019 and it was almost 10 years plus since bitcoin exist and we can see that its market cap have alrready grown to billions as well as its price . do you think this is possible if not because of the massive adoption and acceptability that bitcoin had recieve  ?  right now only few countries left that doesnt support cypto and  bitcoin  but i guess this cant lead the price to grow to a hundred thousand . 100k usd is just too exagerated for just a currency .

Bitcoin should worth 15k or even more after 2020 consider the fact the next block decrease will decrease half from the current block reward for bitcoin from 12.5 to the 6.25. And you can't even predict the future and there was a lot of possibilities for bitcoin and imagine what will happen if the whole of people in the world considers bitcoin as a store of value. How many people in the world compared with the total supply of bitcoin itself? that makes sense if bitcoin can worth a lot in the future.

To make lots of adoptions comes we need a long time, right? and for me it should be need ten years or more than that. Look at the view point a government to bitcoin now. He says lots of bullshit to achieve bitcoin is payment instrument that can he use, but he still comfortable with their currency so as he strips bitcoin and make lots of FUD. I believe bitcoin can make a drastically increase just for short time, but you must look also the affect that make it happen.

It is not about years, it could even take months, the adoption rate is what matters, we need more demands of bitcoin, and as the supply quantity closes up, the price of Bitcoin will become very expensive that it may even go far above that $100,000.

SO what we need to really hope for is that awareness continues to grow fast, so that adoption can be high, and not only awareness, we need very strong projects that will create the awareness of bitcoin through their products, I have seen people like amazon, Facebook, Nike, and many other big companies preparing to also embrace cryptocurrency, but we need companies like this to adopt cryptocurrency through bitcoin.

I agree with you, everything is possible but the possibility here should be within certain limits, it cannot be a dream too far and overcome normal conditions, and $100000 with bitcoin is a price too far and exceeds the conditions that the market allows. Even if everyone is very supportive, it is still impossible, for a very high price, people can only sell, no one dares to buy, and the price to sell is virtual, understanding this problem, whales only pump bitcoin to a suitable level.

Possibly it'll reach the peak price at the earliest if the support from the investors keep on going as now. The entire cryptocurrencies were speculative and the same makes people make go for price predictions. For the same I don't think that the price will go to such a high value of $100000 by this year. Maybe this could happen by the falling years halving.
