Okay I'm a moron and I tried to transfer btc from Coinbase to my Electrum wallet but I did it incorrectly from Coinbase, just copying the receiving address from my Electrum wallet into the Recipient line in my Coinbase transfer form and hitting the send button. That was 2 days ago, Coinbase cannot undo the transaction but the btc has never showed up in my Electrum acccount.

Is there anyone who can help me with this? I know the btc went to my Electrum "receiving address" but it's never showed up in my Electrum wallet.

Help please, thx!

1. Which version of Electrum are you using?
2. Is the wallet synchronized? (Which color is the big dot at the right corner of your wallet?)
3. What’s your OS?
4. Are you sure you pasted the right address on Coinbase? (Did you double check the address before hitting Send?)

You have to use the latest version of Electrum, you can download it here: https://electrum.org/#download
Verify it after download. Older versions will not connect to the network.

Well, found the issue.

Versions older than 3.3 don’t synchronize anymore. Go to ELECTRUM.ORG and update it to the latest version.

Not only this, but older versions are also vulnerable to several issues (including a exploit that shows fake update messages when you try to send a tx while connected to a malicious served).

REMEMBER: electrum.org is the ONLY website you should trust to download Electrum. Always double check the URL.
