I agree with this but compensate them according to the quality work that they will deliver. And OP, choose another person for the signature design that you are wanting. They may have their own team of creating those designs for you so I think it's all up to their or your choice as well. If you are still up with this offer, payment with ICO token would lead you to another level of quality unlike the better quality that we suggested if you will work with those people.
