Is this a good idea?

So i recently got a thing for designing shirts or making logo for some personal occassions. Since i love my work, i am planning to have a tshirt printing business which is unique and new from the eyes of the new generation consumers. Im planning to have a  design which is all cryptocurrency and ask for bitcoin as a payment if possible. Ofcourse i will start first in my country and have a feasibility studies first. Any thoughts about it?

Below are some designs i made. Please share your thoughts if that can be a good idea or not. Negative comments will be appreciated.

Thinking of a viable business for yourself and entrepreneurship in general is almost never a bad idea. But in my opinion, you still need some learning and practicing to do. It's almost like you just grabbed some logos and added some text around it using Windows' paint. Try harder. Best of luck.

May I know what kind of feasibility you're referring to? the t-shirt business or studies? I do really like the second t-shirt design also I'm glad to see users that wants to offer their service to promote cryptocurrency, It's like promoting it to the real world which is most people will going to be curious or be aware of what really a cryptocurrency through t-shirt designs.

Might want to open a business here too in the forum?

Any kind of business that is innovative will always easier to sell. Anyway, t-shirt business is always profitable if you have regular customers. Focus on advertising and you will end up selling anything.

So basically you are willing to start a Print on Demand business which will accept cryptocurrency. I am also working on a similar idea but for a different niche. You don't need to start in your country first, rather you can start it worldwide! Let me give you the steps below,

1. Create a wordpress website
2. Integrate Woocommerce plugins (see some youtube tutorials)
3. Integrate either Custom cat or Printify in your blog
4. You can upload your own designs
5. Get orders
6. Custom cat/printify will fulfill your orders and ship to your clients
7. keep the profit.

It's a pretty good idea, but not only t-short you need to think more widely it can be any clothes. You can brand anything with motivational phrases and cryptocurrency.

It's an amazing idea !! What about making more logos for different projects? ICOs and starups, even campaigns who make business here at the forum, may take this method into consideration especially if you succeed selling Tishirts here.
I thought about this in the past, guessing that it will give me a huge benefits, but i give up for the idea that people still can' understand the meaning of those logos, so better to start a business in the bitcointalk forum. I encourage you to think about continuing this, you habe my support Bro.

I wouldn't want to wear something screaming "I AM A HODLER". Even if you don't own many coins, It can make you a target for the thieves. You'll just raising unwanted attention on you. Many computer hacks happen only after the hacker makes sure of that he owns/knows everything (passwords, home address, everything) about you. He hits you and takes everything in seconds. You won't even understand what hit you and how.

That t-shirt just might be the trigger/reason for a long term thievery/hack session which might happen to you.

The t shirt business is over saturated and the profit margins are quite small.  I don't think it is a business worth going to.  The only real positive is that you can start it with very little capital.  If you have a small budget and determination I say go for it but don't expect to make a fortune.

When I read the thread I thought the same thing you just said. Imagine that someone is wearing this shirt on the street, and the thieves look at the bitcoin symbol on the shirt and search and discover that bitcoin is worth many dollars, it was as if the owner of the shirt had asked to suffer some robbery


OP, no offense but I would not wear a shirt like that, in my country wear a shirt like that is the same as I ask to have big problems with the thieves

Why not? But as someone has said, the market is somewhat saturated and unless you have a good design that most people like and will buy then you can make a fortune out of it.

If you really like what you do then go for it. Remember that every business started small and then go on to become big brands in the future. Goodluck!!.

That's really good, already there were more similar services provided by the users. When you provide the same for an affordable cost including shipping this will be used by more cryptocurrency users. This will also help with the spreading about cryptocurrency around.

If you plan to expand your business world wide then you should consider the bitcoin logo design on other things also, and not just on T-shirts. No one will wear these T-shirts in a country where bitcoin is illegal because it may cause unnecessary troubles.

entrepreneurship and starting a business is everyone's choice. we will never find results when we never try. doing business does require high morale and struggle, we must hone our potential. adjustments regarding business expertise will be determined from the basic skills and experience we have.

It is best if you do not limit your designs to crypto but also include funny and witty ones. And add other merchandise like cups or mags.

The idea of accepting bitcoin as payment is great. Even just posting "We accept bitcoin" can generate a lot of interest for bitcoin in your area.

There are still a lot of questions to answer.  How much are you willing to spend on advertising and on what platforms?  How much inventory will you keep in stock at a time? How will you handle refunds and returns?  What separates you apart from the competition?
