In our country we have our local wallet where users can directly trade fiat-bitcoin/eth/xrp/bch or vice versa. We can use it to pay bills, services, purchase goods since other merchants accept online payment, and it even use it to directly make a deposit to a bank. 

I hope as time goes by, the usage of crypto will not be limited as in we can use it to buy anything.

that service is good, they must imitate because many member will be made easy by that service. bank must make teamwork with some exchanger, so they can pay something (because we pay, almost all arrears through the bank). people dont need to queued up and wasting time.

In our country it is not forbidden but no store accepts bitcoin as far as I know, what we have to do is convert it first to our currency before we can spend it.

Here in my country there are lots of things that can be done using bitcoin since our government does not ban nor support bitcoin because they are neutral when it comes to cryptocurrency, they allow a kind of business that people can used bitcoin as mode of payment like payment for utilities and like yours for a game item. Also there are some P2P transaction selling some property in exchange for bitcoin.

It always surprises me when some people say that they constantly use Bitcoin as their main currency. I would like to use Bitcoin, but in my daily life at the moment it has no place. If you are referring to something that Bitcoin can buy, then not all items can be bought in our country. But because there is a platform that can convert Bitcoin and some altcoins to our local currency transfer it to my bank account then I can say that everything can be bought by Bitcoin. We can also buy something on the net and delivered it for someone, for families and friends. That is how convenient it is. If all countries will accept Bitcoin and altcoins, I think everything will be very easy.
