Selling tokens/low market cap coins for Bitcoin?

This depends on the potential of the altcoin. So, if you think coins/tokens are not going to make progress in the future, why should you hold? It would be the best choice to get BTC instead.

i think the reverse of that is the most safer option now a lot of alt are undervalued in comparison with bitcoin but for sure you need to avoid scam project and choose well good luck

Converting your shitcoins to bitcoin are the best way to have good money because the price of bitcoin have a better chance to pump. I will not regret selling my altcoins for bitcoin because i know its a good decision. Bitcoin will pump, so have more holdings of it and don’t just let this opportunity be gone for you.

Everyone would've loved to do that but immediately you decide to do that then your consciousness asks you, what if the reverse happens? hehee.. Anything can happen buddy, ALTs won't go down and down forever. No matter what, a reverse will occur and they may bounce back. My only wish is that Bitcoin should stay there (at the top) when this reverse starts to occur and it's gonna be awesome for everyone.

Although I had not thought about that possibility, hoping that a miracle would happen in the market so that my asleep altcoins would suddenly come alive and revive, I think your proposal is not a bad idea, because if after two years of having been launched a great number of tokens through ICOs, and their projects are still not crystallized, it is difficult to think that things will change in the medium term, so it is likely that, given the high growth expectations of bitcoin, I might start selling a good amount of my stored shitcoins.

But when people are trying to move into the safe area and bitcoin is the only best choice. just convert it back to the altcoin when there was a little signal from the altcoin market to get another green in the future. I believe that time will come back again later. We have seen this pattern already repeated in so many times.

since there were lots of altcoins in the market, it is hard for someone to look for a coin that will really give a good profit unlike to bitcoin you can see that most of the time the price are simultaneously increasing over the months unlike when you are investing to alts the question is that what coin will give you profit although there were lots of coins in the market that moving in different ways, we cant not settle for a coin that once the green numbers arrive we will stick on it because the movement of the price for an alts are very quick to change.

 didn't you ask yourself if it is not better to sell all of your low market cappitalization coins (mostly earned in bounty campaigns) and buy more Bitcoins?
Because I do not see any price progress in these altcoins,  like in 2017 bull market when all of these tokens were highly valuable and could make 1000% anytime.
Now most of them seems like dead. And I am asking myself: Now, it is the best time to sell them all and get atleast some Bitcoins?
Imagine that you sell all of your tokens for 1000$ and buy Bitcoin that costs now 5000$.
Imagine that you didn't sell and all of your tokens will still have same value, but Bitcoin will reach new ATH price.

It is not possible to see a bull run in the price of tokens as it were in 2017, because 2017 was when we had a lot of tokens being created in the market and then investors cared less about what they offer but the profit they could make within a short period of time, though we have now seen a correction in the market which have separated the good tokens/coins from the bad once, this is why we saw the price of so many coin in the market go so low never to recover.

Hmm mate, this statement of yours really fear me, I am still trying to hold on to some of my token and hoping that the bull run would at least pick them up for me to be able to sell them and buy bitcoin with them.

There are some of my bounty tokens I have already sold and converted to bitcoin now that they still have trading volume, but some are just yet to make any price move, they have not even entered exchanges, and I guess that is goodbye already for those ones.

This should be the more reason why we should not allow the ICO market die, so that we can continue to get some benefits from the new projects, now that we have learnt how to select a good one.

Bitcoin still a good choice to invest with, if you're hold coins are too low from ICO price and seems not having any development in their product, then better sell it and buy bitcoin, hoping btc is continuous to grow.

One thing we use in judging their development is first the number of trade volume they have in their market, if they are not developing, it means they are not getting much investors, and if they are not getting investors, then there will be no one to buy the coin from us, so it is more like we are already having portfolio full of bag holders.

All those low altcoins are not even the one we should change to bitcoin, even the ones that are presently performing, because sooner or later, they will also turn to those low coins too, so the earlier we sell them off to bitcoin to make more money, the earlier it will be better for us, we can then watch during the time bitcoin is going sideways to buy them back which we will definitely still get the price we sold them back then.

It depends on your altcoin that earned in bounty campaigns, if you think your token have a future and their team is very active then go hold that token. In the other hand, you think that your token have no future and their team is all about talk without developments then dump your token and buy some valuable coins like bitcoin.

Agree, yeah Bitcoin looks charming if you look at the current market, but you have projects that are successfully listed on the market and have high prices. it doesn't matter to sell it and exchange it to bitcoin, its your choice. but my advice is to hold some project that you think is worthy

Before selling it, you must think twice before doing it. If the token has a low market cap but the team is working with it and the development continuously then just hold it but if you really want to sell it for Bitcoin then just do it. Just be ready with the risks after deciding.

Low market coins were good for long term profiting, but here very few coins gives with the assurance of profiting. Large number of low volume coins lack in development and the same makes them go low in value continuously. By now as the price of bitcoin has gone much higher selling those low coins will get nothing. Better is to hold, maybe out of luck might get some better value.

one way or another, one must be able to draw conclusions regarding one company or another in order to determine the most promising projects and the best coins for investment among the total number of cryptocurrency market.  This is very difficult to do, since even good test results may be ineffective.

Yes, i preffer to have more bitcoin than altcoins, and i sell some coins for bitcoin, but i still hold some coins i not sell on last bull run because if i sell now i not get the money back from the time i buy them.

If we talk about the value of altcoin, then you need to take to the attention of the statements of many analysts who say that the majority of altcoins do not have the final product.  And what is the value of the product?  From its relevance in society and real practical value.  And now you need to think about what Altcoins have such advantages.

I think that depends on the situation. if indeed you need something important for sure, you will do it (sell because feel doubtful about the project). but if it's not important, it's better to HODL until it worthless or vice versa.

I'm still convinced by the bounty coins that I still have. I will continue to keep it because someday it will be of high value. If you want to buy Bitcoin better use the initial funds.
