since i am in few ico project and now using telegram for a long time but when you are a new to telegram you can be scammed and i have seen people in the chat that are being scammed and just tried to wrote about it so they can avoid being scammed and lose there coins. I hope it will help them but they have to read it understand and if they are smart enough they dont need any blog or form

It's good to know that there are people like you who offer that kind of service.  There are really lots of scammers on telegram which is disturbing because it's hard to know and catch who they really are since telegram isn't restricted. It will be a big help because most victims are newbies. The best thing to do is not to trust unknown people on telegram especially if it already involves money.

That's truly helpful and I would like to share one of the experiences of my friend on telegram. He planned to sign up on Binance for his trading needs. He completed the step by step process and it requested for KYC and for some reason it didn't got verified. He simply searched Binance support on telegram and found a support profile with Binance logo. He began his conversation and he helped with step by step process and after some time mentioned that the wallet need to be funded with $1000 worth btc to make the identity get confirmed. He just ignored, further he keeps on texting whether the deposit is made. We need to be very careful, scammers can attack as through whatever way possible.

And also be careful on those people who copy the admins name and try to "help you with your problem" this scammers would try to gain your trust and offer you some help and would want to be paid.
I also experience some scammers tried to scam me by copying the name and picture of one admin that I join and asking to borrow a huge amount of crypto at me,
So always check who you are talking to so you wouldn't fall victim of these scammers.

Damn. I heard about these kind of scams though it never happened to me since I am not so active on Telegram, but this is some creative scamming right here. I did encounter some people asking for money who I obviously blocked right away.

Telegram is basically infested with scammers since majority of the crypto activity is conducted through this app which is why investors need to be extra careful there.

I am no doubt if, in the telegram, we will see many scammers that were still trying to scam us in many ways.
I always check the channels, and if I find something suspicious, I will directly leave the channel or block the user so he/she cannot send a message to me in the future.
I realize that every people can invite the others to join in one channel, but as long as we can set our account, I don't think that they will easily to invite us to join in one group.

You have a point there, by the way to OP, Good job for this blog. The blog is really effective, especially for the newbies. The only rule in the telegram you have to keep in mind is that campaign managers will never ever send you a message first. (unless he is your mutual friend or a close friend). In the other rules you have provided in the blog, it may sound basic the not bad to state it so that people could also be reminded about it. Do not entertain strangers. Never accept what they are asking for.

That's the best ways to avoid getting scammed online. Don't even care about anyone that you do not know in Telegram especially if they are offering something where money is involved. Avoid to join random telegram groups without doing some researches about the group is recommended.

When offers are too obvious scammy, don't proceed. Being aware of the current scam tactics will help you flee from these scammers.

And don't talk to strangers when you're in such telegram channels. Someone will approach you with few talks and will definitely ask you something about investments. Setting up your own rule will help and I've been doing this as well.

One of the thing that I learned scammers are using is, you can change your username in telegram, or you can create as many telegrams you want, telegram is not the best place to do business for peer to peer, because you don't know the history of that account, compare to forum and other social media sites like Facebook.

Are you sure you're a newbie? This is a great blog anyway and its helpful for all of us who used telegram everyday. There's so many troll, scammers and hackers on telegram and I believe they can just easily create account to troll the specific group, don't believe them any way. Telegram is just a place to be informed by the group of every developer but never to have some decent chat to anyone because they are just trying to get sympathy and scam you later on.

Are you sure you're a newbie? This is a great blog anyway and its helpful for all of us who used telegram everyday. There's so many troll, scammers and hackers on telegram and I believe they can just easily create account to troll the specific group, don't believe them any way. Telegram is just a place to be informed by the group of every developer but never to have some decent chat to anyone because they are just trying to get sympathy and scam you later on.

I created my account in bitcointalk long time ago but i hardly used it, since I am taking part in many ICO and looking for some good project to follow and invest in it i realized that when I started telegram It was really hard to know the feature and if you don't know about Telegram then better be save else you will maybe get across a scammer and you will easily give him ur coins. Also I am not new to blockchain so it is not easy for a scammer to scam me but if someone who is new to blockchain and also don't know how to use Telegram then he will end up losing his money and his trust on cryptocurrency will be gone and I am one of a true believer in crypto, So most of my blog will be about crypto from now onward.
