I think the XVF is not scam in fact is legit and its good project can also tell that longterm and potentially these altcoins know why the price of xvg has fallen is because of its impact on bitcoin price and we know that when the price of bitcoin falls somewhat, the price of altcoins falls somewhat and another reason for the fall of the price of the xvg is because of pannic selling then it also affects the price of xvg then the price of the xvg is in the 50s and now the price is so high that luck prices are cheap and hold up so far as they become profitable.

Its XVG not XVF some kind of typo error dude basically I dont considered XVG as a scam since its listed in some big exchange site in the market but the one thing that I hate XVG when they announce in their AMA the partnership to  Pornhub this is not a big partnership that everyone want to hear haha.

I can't say it is a scam because I don't really follow their development. But, I can say that the real value of this token is reflected by the current price. This token has ever been pumped, everyone joined they hype and now this token back to where should it be. A value of token should come along with the development.

XVG has been around for quite sometime now and even made a lot people millionaires and Never has it been pronounced scam. Unfortunately, just like most coins, the continuous downward trend in the market has led to it being labeled as a scam, I still think it has a lot of potentials to recover and do another upward trend.

All coins can drop in value like bitcoin, no coin is excluded to this, and the coin dropping in value doesn't mean it's scam, developers have the rights to sell their own coin because they own it, and mostly developers vest their coins for a year or two.

Yes, John McAfee help the coin to surge back then but XVG is not a shit or scam coin. However, the reason why the coin don't have enough reputation with support was because of the concept behind it creation(it was purpose for anonymous fast transaction and it not a private company funded by pre-mined coins or ICO's) and we both know there's a lot of coins that offer the same services. Besides, it just like others smart contract/DAPP offer project trying to take the number spot from ETH.

Mind you, the community support Monero than the coin in subject and my advice to OP is to always check the concept of a project and the others project which are already in the field before investing.

If you care only about price then we can say that also Bitcoin is a scam because it lost 70% of its value.
Verge is very similiar to Tron because both CEOs are shilling their projects more than needed.

It's not a scam, it's an unfortunate victim of fomo and over reaching trading.

At the time when McAfee shilled it, prviacy coins were seen as the next "big thing"
There was a lot of talk of regulations and stuff so people thought that privacy coins would become more valuable.
So people were scrambling to find an undervalued privacy coin that would blow up.
McAfee tweeted that he had high hopes for it (this was during a very bullish crypto season)
Then, it all combined together and it did blow up.
It went so ridiculously high, check it's growth charts and history its insane.

But, ironically, that is what doomed it.
Nothing can maintain that kind of growth, not in stocks, not in real estate and definitely not in crypto.
It crashing is a result of the overall market crashing but also itself becoming a victim to supply and demand.

I don't know if it is a scam or not because I didn't follow it up and so I don't have any prove whichever way but, the fact that a token or coin has gone through hard times and depreciation of price is not avway to know a scam project since they are still existing and remember that many coins also dropped in price and are just picking up.

If we should judged all ico by price then virtually all altcoins are scam because almost all of them are trading below their all time high, the market condition has affected price of altcoins even the number 1 cryptocurrency bitcoin is not left out.

I also don't think is a scam, and at that time when something happen with miners and a lot of coins was generated the coin drop a lot on price, but is not a scam.
