I want to design a casino based on "Community Consensus" with lightning network.

The core is well-know "PoW" - Proof of Wager
Players could mine the platform currency while betting .
You can participate in community voting to determine the future direction of the platform, create posts to initiate proposals and get dividend
With the development of the lightning network, there will be no concept of deposit and withdrawal.
The player’s funds are always in the player’s own wallet.(webLN)

All in all, it's a new type of casino.Players don't have to worry about their money and have a strong sense of participation.
The best Trust is "No need to Trust"

But there are still some issues that need to be addressed.
1.How to design an account system?
Ethereum has a metamask, EOS has scatter. But Lightning Networks does not have a wallet with proof of identity. I am trying to communicate with bitlum wallet.

2.What kind of chain does the platform currency use?
I think the currency shouldnt be an ERC20 and we should "Only Bitcoin". I think Omni protocol is cool but is the transfer too expensive?

What do you think?

AFAIK there are currently no coloured coins via LN on mainnet. While CounterParty seems to be working on LN compatibility [1] I didn't find any signs of Omni making any moves in this regard. Also RGB might be worth keeping an eye on [2], but it also is still work in progress as far as I can tell.

The important question is : Does the idea have a big fan base around the gambling community? AFAIK, gamblers don't really like to complicate things, Deposit - Roll- Withdraw. They don't really care about the future of the platform or the core that is Proof of Wager. You can successfully deploy a platform like this but will gamblers actually start playing on your site?

This is a good question, but I think more and more gamblers will be exposed to the lightning network. Bitcoin deposits/withdrawals are slow, but the lightning network is more anonymous&fast, which is an objective fact. Second, there is no need to deposit to a wallet that needs to be trusted (the wallet of the casino) belongs to the future.

Other casinos won't stand in one place too, they will eventually adopt LN too. So, the question is, can your casino with complicated features compete against traditional simple casinos? And what terms will you offer to players - what will be the house edge, will there be any competitions, promotional bonuses and all the other things that will make betting on your platform more appealing than competitors?

In fact we have "complicated features" in us current project.
we have pioneered the world's first trend chart to help player analyze in our Crashed Game called ATM
Second we have pioneered a "Dealer BlackJack" that the users have the right to choose be a dealer or a player in BlackJack
About "promotional bonuses" we have free spin for new users to get 0.5BTC and Task system with free coin(Daily Task/ Bonus task) for the old users.
We always believe that technology will create the future and attache great importance to the user experience.
But I think we still in traditional casino form that users need "withdraw" to get their funds.
In my opinion, the best trust is "trust without trust"
The user's money should not be stored in the casino's wallet. When the player wins, the funds should be settled immediately.
We can't make it in Bitcoin because the fee and time costs are too high but now we have the Lightning Network.
Lightning Network will bring about a payment revolution and the first industry to be affected is the gambling.

Hey guys, and OP (I came here from your other thread actually!).

Unfortunately I'm always a bit far behind when it comes to technical discussions... but I like to think as the average user, if I can get myself to understand it and use it in practical terms, then we're going somewhere and that's why I still participate. But enough.

Have a look at this recent article which discusses the possibility of tokens on the Bitcoin network and using LN (which we all love yeah?) and get this... RGB coloured coins! Called it Spectrum Protocol.

Unfortunately, can't find much info on Spectrum itself but apparently we'll see it in action end of 2019.

Yes, but you also have to take 'first mover advantage' into account.
This could actually be the perfect way to start a new casino from scratch and get a lot of interest, purely due to the fact that it works with LN.

Sure, the casino and games need to be good, but I wouldn't underestimate the power that "being one of the first LN casinos" has.

The power of "first mover advantage" is astonishing.
Fow now we have already support Lightning Network in BC.Game
But I have to say that this is not a pure lightning network casino. (Still need an account and deposit to us)
To be a commercial and pure lightning casino,we are faced with several problems.
First of all we need a lighting wallet with a decentralized identity system(This is the key to commercialization, users and we all need that).
And a protocol (like RGB) that can issue tokens in Lightning Network.
In addition, settlement is also a hassle. After the capacity of our channel has reached its maximum, we need to restart the channel after closing the channel.
The solution I think is that we should have multiple nodes and take turns to settle the channels.

BTW,welcome to test Lightning Network in BC.Game (ill tip you i promise Tongue Tongue)

I found a cool tool which could meet my needs.
Here is the link:

Btw I really enjoy playing their BTCDragon.
You could regard it as cryptokitties based on the BTC network.
Smart contracts on the Bitcoin network.
Thats awesome!
